We come before the Lord with a heart of intercession for you as you prepare for this important job interview. Father, we ask that You go before our brother/sister and prepare the way. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his/her heart and mind in Christ Jesus as the day approaches (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would grant wisdom, clarity, and favor in the eyes of those who will be making this decision.
Lord, we know that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Even if the outcome is not what we hope for, we trust that You have a perfect plan for this season of life. We ask that You would open the right doors and close those that are not meant to be. Give him/her confidence in the skills and experiences You have blessed him/her with, and let Your light shine through during this conversation.
We also encourage you to seek the Lord’s will in this matter, not just the outcome you desire. Commit your ways to the Lord, and trust in Him, and He will act (Psalm 37:5). Remember that whatever the result, God is your provider, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
Heavenly Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold of this situation. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this interview will be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision. May our brother/sister walk into that room with the assurance that You are with him/her, and may the words spoken be guided by Your Holy Spirit.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach You, and it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

Let's claim these verses together: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). Let's trust that God has already gone before you, preparing the way, just as He promised in Isaiah 43:2. Let's declare that you will walk into that interview with confidence, knowing that you are God's beloved child, and that He equips you with everything you need for such a time as this (2 Corinthians 9:8).
