Apostasy getting bad....

I cant believe what Im hearing. But more and more im reading about this. Not just individual Christianns but whole churches from the pastor on down ,adopting a changed Gospel message.Picking up the vibes of the world, stating when Jesus said He s the only way to Heaven He didnt really mean it that way if someone from another religion dies they can still go to Heaven.(There are whole churches adopting this worldly Satanic deception and their pastors preach it.But like we read "Before the man of sin comes first must come the apostasy."

We are grieved and deeply troubled by what you are witnessing, the growing apostasy within the church, where entire congregations and their leaders are distorting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Word of God is clear: there is only one way to salvation, and that is through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Jesus Himself declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). To suggest otherwise is to deny the very foundation of the Christian faith and to lead souls astray into eternal danger.

The apostle Paul warned us about this very deception, writing, "For if he who comes preaches another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or if you receive a different spirit, which you did not receive, or a different ‘good news’, which you did not accept, you put up with that well enough!" (2 Corinthians 11:4 WEB). The Gospel is not a message that can be altered or watered down to fit the preferences of the world. It is the unchanging truth of God’s Word, and those who twist it will be held accountable.

We must also remember the sobering words of Jesus in Matthew 7:15-16: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits you will know them." The fruits of these false teachings are evident, confusion, compromise, and a departure from the truth. But we are not to despair, for Scripture also assures us that God is sovereign and His Word will not return void. We are called to stand firm in the faith, to contend for the truth, and to expose deception with the light of God’s Word.

Let us pray together in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12):

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, Lord, as we see the rising tide of apostasy within the church. We ask for Your mercy and Your intervention, Father. Strengthen those who are standing firm in the truth, and give them boldness to speak out against deception. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to distort the Gospel, and we declare that Your Word is truth and will stand forever. Father, we pray for those who have been led astray, pastors, leaders, and congregations, who have embraced a false gospel. Open their eyes to the truth, Lord, and draw them back to You. May they repent and turn from their error before it is too late. We also pray for the body of Christ, that we would be united in the truth, discerning of false teaching, and unwavering in our commitment to the Gospel. Protect Your people, Lord, from the schemes of the devil, and let Your light shine brightly in the darkness. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We must also encourage you, dear brother or sister, to remain steadfast in the truth. Do not be discouraged by the growing darkness, for the darker the night, the brighter the light of Christ shines. Cling to God’s Word, study it diligently, and surround yourself with fellow believers who are committed to the truth. Pray for discernment, and do not hesitate to speak the truth in love, even when it is unpopular. The time is short, and the need for bold, faithful witnesses is greater than ever.

Finally, let us remember the words of Jude 1:3-4: "Beloved, while I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I was constrained to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For there are certain men who crept in secretly, even those who were long ago written about for this condemnation: ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into indecency, and denying our only Master, God, and Lord, Jesus Christ." We are called to contend for the faith, and that is what we must do, with love, with truth, and with unwavering conviction.

It's heavy, isn't it? When you hear a pastor, or a whole church, rewrite the gospel so openly, it can feel like the ground is giving way. And you're not just hearing whispers; you're seeing news of it more and more, and it's stirring a real ache. That ache is actually a sign your heart is anchored where it should be. The Bible told us these days would come, and every generation has had its share of this same grief. But knowing it's foretold doesn't automatically smooth the sting of watching it happen right now.

We want to share something that's grounded us when the noise gets loud: your own faith doesn't have to wobble just because others' has. The apostasy around us is tragic, and it's right to be grieved. But your alarm can become a kind of call to press closer to Christ yourself, to let the sadness turn into deeper prayer for those who are being swept away, and for shepherds who still stand on the truth. You're not powerless here. You can ask God to guard you and your church, and to bring back those caught in deception, sometimes He does remarkable things through the prayers of His people when things look darkest.

If you're not already, it might help to link arms with a few trusted believers who share your burden. Not to endlessly discuss the bad news, but to steady each other in what is still true. When so many are shifting, intentional fellowship can be a shelter.

Lord Jesus, we bring this burden to You. For our friend who sees the tide pulling others away, we ask for peace that isn't fragile. Keep their own feet from slipping, and let their concern become a fire for prayer, not despair. Have mercy on churches that are trading Your words for something easier, call them back, we pray. Thank You that You are the only way, and that no amount of confusion changes that. In Your name, amen.

The heart sickens to hear such tidings, yet we are not taken unawares. The Gospel was never intended to please man; it is offensive to human nature and revolting to the pride of the creature. Why should we think it strange that whole churches, with their pastors leading the way, should now twist the narrow way to suit the broad road? Before the man of sin is revealed, the apostasy must come, and so it is. They ransack Heaven, earth, and hell to find some comfort for those who will not bow to the sole Lordship of Jesus, but the faithful ambassador knows only one commission: “Go ye, and disciple all nations.” The message is not ours to alter. Am I to ask God to make another Gospel to suit your fancy, or to save you in some way apart from faith in His Son? I cannot and I will not do it!

If your heart is right with Christ, you will be prepared to welcome all His teaching. Only prove it to be Christ's teaching, and the true servant receives it. Remember, the Gospel is given as a command, disobedience to it involves a direful penalty. To say Christ is not the only way is to perpetrate a high affront to our Lord Jesus Christ. You cannot imagine He has sent this Gospel to be a football for men to play with. Yet, while the worldling haggles, you who tremble at His Word, do not venture a single footstep further on that dangerous road. To abide with Christ is our only security. Look to Jesus! You may have but a little Grace, the very faintest evidence of the Spirit’s work, yet He will lead you to fountains of living waters. He shall guide you Providentially to the city of habitations. Commit your way unto the Lord; trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass. Gaze then upon the eternal scene where His servants shall see His face, and hunger no more, that Heaven is for you, and it is even now on this side of the river. Only trust Him! Only trust Him!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is no strange thing that you hear. These are not mere rumors but the very beginnings of the sorrows foretold with such care. When the Master was about to depart, and when the Apostles were ready to lay down their care, they did not keep silent about what would come. They painted the picture beforehand, that we might preoccupy our minds before the pestilence assails. What you report, that whole churches and their pastors are adopting a changed gospel, saying Christ did not truly mean He is the only way, is precisely why the warning was given. There shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. This is the first war, the war of the deceivers.

Do you see in what state of war things were described? It was not one simple battle, but a campaign of many evils. There is the war of deceivers, the rise of false brethren, and the chilling of love, which is the cause of all the ills. When iniquity abounds, the love of the many grows cold. This is exactly the ground from which such a hollow and satanic deception springs. Men love the praise of the world more than the praise of God, and so they smooth over the sharp edges of the truth to avoid being hated for His name’s sake. The true Gospel is glad tidings of abiding and unchangeable blessings, but those blessings remain anchored to the unchangeable truth that the Father is known only through the Son. He Himself declared, "that they might know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." If a man will not receive this Christ in the Father's name, he stands ready to receive another who will come in his own name.

Yet, do not let your heart be wholly cast down by the noise of this disaster. While these things surely must come to pass, hear what is also promised. All these things shall occur, the false Christs, the betrayals, the apostasy, but over the generation of the faithful, nothing shall prevail. Not famine, not pestilence, not false prophets, nor any such temptation whatever. This generation is not measured merely by the time a man lives, but by the mode of his service. This is the generation of them that seek the Lord. Therefore, watch. Endure hardship. Do the work of an evangelist in your own sphere, securing the safety of the sheep within your reach before these wolves enter further. Because iniquity abounds, your love must not wax cold. He that endures to the end, the same shall be saved.

What you are noticing is deeply troubling, and yet it is exactly what Scripture warned us would happen. The apostles themselves faced men who crept in and perverted the gospel, turning the good news of grace into something else entirely. Paul had to write to churches in Galatia because they were so quickly deserting the pure gospel for a message that added human effort to the finished work of Christ. He said it was not another gospel at all, but a corruption, and that anyone preaching such a thing is accursed. There is only one gospel: salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. No other name under heaven will save, no other path leads to the Father, and no sincerity in another religion can substitute for that truth.

The early church was constantly on guard against false prophets and teachers. They knew these deceivers often came with an outward appearance of ministry, but their motives were selfish. The mark of a false prophet in those days was often a focus on money or personal gain, twisting the word of God for profit. Today, that same spirit operates when whole congregations adopt the world’s thinking so that the offense of the cross is removed. When a church teaches that people can be saved apart from Jesus, it has stopped being a faithful witness. It has exchanged truth for pleasant sounding lies, and the result is spiritual deadness, no matter how large or familiar the congregation may be.

Persecution never destroyed the church; it purified it. The real danger has always been acceptance. When the church is embraced by the world, its power wanes. You are seeing that now. An apostasy is indeed here, just as Jesus indicated before His return. But do not let your heart be overwhelmed. The gospel will still reach every nation, tribe, and tongue. God’s purposes are not thwarted by the failure of some churches. In the early days, the good news went into all the known world within decades, not because institutions were perfect, but because faithful men and women held to the word and refused to compromise. That same work continues, often in quiet, uncelebrated places.

The history of the church has many shameful chapters, but the Lord is not asking you to defend every institution that bears His name. He asks you to cling to Him and to the simple, gracious truth He preached. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. The apostles did not negotiate that message. When false brothers pressed circumcision as necessary, Paul would not yield even for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel would be preserved. That same clarity must be ours today. There is no room to budge on the exclusivity of Christ. Those who teach otherwise have departed from the faith, no matter how many titles they carry.

Do not be surprised or disheartened by the volume of it. Jude wrote of those who crept in unnoticed, turning grace into license and denying the Master. Our responsibility is to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints. Keep your eyes on the Head of the church, not on the sinking ship of cultural religion. The One who called you is faithful, and He will sustain His own through every wave of error. Let this burden drive you to prayer, to a deeper love of the truth, and to a humble, steadfast witness where He has placed you. The darkness may spread, but the light of the gospel still shines brightly in every heart that trusts in Christ alone.
