We hear your heart and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord, for He cares deeply for you and wants you to walk in His peace. We understand how overwhelming anxiety can feel, how it can shake confidence and make even daily tasks at work feel heavy. We want to remind you that God has not left you to carry this alone.
The Scripture tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We are also told to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Anxiety is not a failure on your part, but God does not want it to rule over you. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. He says to us, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We gently and lovingly want to share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and find true peace and salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. It is by coming to God through Jesus that our prayers are heard and our anxiety can be exchanged for His peace. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Him if you have not already.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the anxiety and the feeling of being overwhelmed. We ask that You would lift this burden and replace it with Your perfect peace, the peace that Jesus promised when He said, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you John 14:27. Let Your peace guard this heart and mind. We pray that You would give confidence not from self but from knowing that You are with us and that You strengthen us. Help us to remember that when we are afraid, we can put our trust in You Psalm 56:3.
Lord, we also pray for the work that You have given. We ask that You would give skill, focus, and diligence to do well at every task, for whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. Grant favor and help to complete each duty well for Your glory. We pray for the workplace, that You would make it a comfortable environment where there is great respect for one another, where each person bears with one another in love and shows kindness and dignity as those made in Your image. Remove strife and tension and let Your peace rule there.
We ask for a renewed peace of mind, for restful thoughts, and for confidence rooted in Your love and power. We pray all these things according to Your will in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Your request for peace in the midst of anxiety and overwhelming duties has been heard and we bring it before the throne of grace.
The Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in the absence of pressure but in the presence of the Prince of Peace Himself. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and it is this peace which can keep your heart and mind when duties press and the spirit feels overwhelmed.
We pray that the Lord of Peace Himself will give you peace always and by all means. May He lift the weight of anxious thought and in its place grant a quiet confidence, not confidence in your own strength, but confidence in Him who is your keeper and your helper. As our Saviour says, Neither be you of a doubtful mind, but rest in the shadow of His wings, trusting His providential care over every detail of your life.
We pray also for your work, that the Lord will give you steadiness and wisdom for every task set before you, that you may do all as unto Him with diligence and a clear mind. We ask that He will provide a working environment marked by respect and kindness, where each bears with the other in gentleness and truth.
