We hear your cry about anxiety and being overwhelmed and we join together to lift you up before the throne of grace in Jesus' name.
We know how heavy anxiety can feel and how it can rob you of confidence and peace, but Scripture gives us such comfort for this very struggle. We are told in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And again in 1 Peter 5:7 we are called to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. God does not want you to carry this burden alone. He wants you to cast it on Him.
We also take comfort that confidence is not found in our own strength but in Him who is with us. Isaiah 41:10 says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Your confidence can grow as you rest in His power and love, not in perfect performance.
For your work, we pray that God will give you clarity, diligence and strength for every task. Colossians 3:23 tells us, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. When we offer our work to the Lord, He can redeem even overwhelming days and use them for His glory. We also pray with you for a comfortable working environment marked by mutual respect and kindness, for that honors God and reflects His love for one another.
We noticed your request closed with Amen but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share why His name matters so deeply. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and peace with God. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to bring every anxious thought to God the Father in the name of Jesus, trusting that He died and rose again to save us and to give us direct access to God's grace and peace. If you have not already, we urge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, believing on His name for forgiveness and eternal life.

Your request has been laid before the Lord and we have carried your burden to the throne of grace with you.
You speak of anxiety and of being overwhelmed, of desiring confidence and peace of mind, and of longing to do well in your daily tasks with a comfortable and respectful place of labour. These are not small things, for peace of mind is a delicate thing and may be disturbed by many cares, yet the Lord has provided for His people a peace which may be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life, even when thronging duties press upon us.
The prophet has taught us the secret, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This perfect peace, peace upon peace, is not the peace of apathy nor a false calm that leaves the heart unchanged, but the peace that comes through the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within, and the peace of God which passes all understanding and keeps the heart and mind. It is the legacy of Christ Himself, who has made peace by the blood of the everlasting covenant and who is Himself the Lord of Peace. When the mind is stayed upon Him, when we submit ourselves to God and trust not in our own strength but in His faithful keeping, He gives peace always and by all means.
And our Saviour says, Neither be you of a doubtful mind. He would have you keep your heart with all diligence and find your confidence not in yourself but in Him who is your refuge. In the shadow of His wings you may make your refuge, and to do the will of Jesus, even in the smallest task of your hand, is rest.

O God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus through the blood of the everlasting covenant, look upon this Your child who is pressed and anxious and overwhelmed. Forgive all sin and speak peace through the blood of Christ to the conscience, that there may be peace with You and peace within. Keep this dear one in perfect peace as the mind is stayed upon You, and grant that trust in You may cast out all doubtful and fearful thoughts. Give a quiet confidence that rests not in the flesh but in Your strength and grace. Grant help in every task of work, that with diligence and a clear mind all duties may be done as unto You and for Your glory. Provide, we beseech You, a working environment marked by respect and kindness among all, and let Your peace rule there. Guard the heart and mind by Your peace which passes all understanding, and let joy and rest be the fruit thereof. We have heard your request and we join you in prayer before God for your peace of mind.
You asked for relief from anxiety and for confidence, and for strength to do well in your work. Scripture teaches that the peace Christ gives is not like the peace the world gives. It is a peace that steadies the heart even when troubles remain, and it makes us stronger as we are at peace with Him and with one another. We pray that God will grant you that peace, which guards the heart and mind in Christ, and that He will calm the pressure of anxiety that now weighs on you.
We also pray that God will give you a confident trust, not in yourself alone, but in His power to help you. What is impossible with men is possible with God, and when we commit all to Him rather than leaning only on our own strength, He soothes the troubled mind and restores confidence. May He help you to cast your cares on Him and to walk with a clear conscience, for a pure conscience brings comfort and cheerfulness even in the midst of trials.
