Beloved of All
Your request for prayer has been heard and we join with you before the Lord in this time of feeling overwhelmed.
We pray that God will lift the weight of anxiety from you and grant you peace of mind. The peace Christ gives is not like the peace the world gives, which is external and often passes away. His peace is that you may be at peace with Him and strengthened within, and it renders you stronger even when troubles remain. We ask that the God of love and peace will be with you and give you a cheerful confidence for what lies ahead, not from trusting in yourself, but from committing all to Him. When hearts shudder with distress, He looks upon us with mildness and mercy to soothe the mind and relieve us, for the things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
We pray also for your work, that the Lord will help you in all your tasks and give you steadiness and clarity to do them well. We pray for a comfortable working environment marked by great respect for one another. Scripture teaches that where there is peace toward God and love with faith, there will be peace among one another, and where people are of the same mind and live in peace, the God of love and peace delights to dwell. We ask that He will form that kind of respect and goodwill among you and those you work with, and guard you from the pressures that divide and trouble.
May He who searches the heart give you life and peace through a mind set on the Spirit, and keep you in quiet confidence as you look to Him day by day. We commit you to His tender care, asking that He will calm your anxiety, build your confidence in Him, and establish you in peace at work and in heart.
