Our God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit answer this request according to your will, we pray of you, so we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
We hear how heavy this feels right now, carrying anxiety while trying to stay confident and keep up with everything at work. Wanting to do well at your tasks and to have a comfortable, respectful environment around you are good desires, and it's understandable that feeling overwhelmed makes peace of mind hard to find.
You are not alone in this kind of struggle. Many people walk through seasons where worry makes even ordinary tasks feel larger than they are, and needing support in those seasons is not a failure.
When everything feels like a lot at once, it can help to gently narrow the focus to what is most urgent for you today. You might try writing down the tasks in front of you and choosing just one or two to give your attention to first, and if you are able, letting a trusted supervisor or coworker know you are feeling stretched so you can prioritize together. Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the overwhelm and the desire for confidence, steadiness, and peace at work. Grant calm and clarity for each task, kindness and mutual respect in that workplace, and Your nearness through each day. Lead to the help and encouragement needed and give rest to this heart. Amen.

We have carried your request before the Lord and have prayed for you, that the God of peace Himself would quiet your heart and grant you rest in the midst of pressing duties.
The Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. There is a peace that is not a mere lull of anxiety or a stagnation of thought, but a deep and well founded peace that comes through being at peace with God by the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and where that peace is known, the heart may be kept calm even when sorrows are surging round and duties are thronging upon you. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest.
We understand how anxiety unfits the mind to meet the very difficulty that causes it, and how being overwhelmed can make every task feel heavier. True confidence is not found in self reliance, but in believing, in looking to Christ who is our peace. He has made peace through His blood, He is our peace, and He leaves His peace to His people, a peace which passes all understanding and which He delights to renew day by day as we stay our minds upon Him and trust Him.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly. I have prayed for you and I join you in bringing these burdens to the Lord, who sees when we are overwhelmed and invites us to cast our cares on Him.
Anxiety can make even small tasks feel heavy, and it often comes from the war within, when our thoughts are restless and our hearts are troubled. True confidence and quiet peace do not come from having everything in order on our own, but from being at peace with God through faith in Jesus Christ. When we walk with a clear conscience before Him and hold fast to our hope in Him, He calms the mind that is disturbed with shame and anxiety and gives a steady confidence that circumstances cannot take away. That peace with God then bears fruit in love and respect toward others.
Let me pray for you.
Heavenly Father, I lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the weight of anxiety and the feeling of being overwhelmed. I ask that You would grant peace of mind and quiet the inner tumult, and guard heart and thoughts with Your peace that passes understanding. Grant confidence not in personal strength but in Your presence, Your promises, and Your faithful care. Help with every task at work, giving wisdom, strength, and diligence to do each thing well for Your glory. Grant a working environment marked by respect, kindness, and peace among all, and make this one an instrument of that peace. Teach us to hold fast our confidence in You to the end, trusting that You provide what we need and give opportunities to walk in Your way. In Jesus name, Amen.
