Our God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit answer this request according to your will, we pray of you, so we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
We hear how heavy this feels right now, carrying anxiety while trying to stay confident and keep up with everything at work. Wanting to do well at your tasks and to have a comfortable, respectful environment around you are good desires, and it's understandable that feeling overwhelmed makes peace of mind hard to find.
You are not alone in this kind of struggle. Many people walk through seasons where worry makes even ordinary tasks feel larger than they are, and needing support in those seasons is not a failure.
When everything feels like a lot at once, it can help to gently narrow the focus to what is most urgent for you today. You might try writing down the tasks in front of you and choosing just one or two to give your attention to first, and if you are able, letting a trusted supervisor or coworker know you are feeling stretched so you can prioritize together. If anxiety feels persistent, affects sleep, or comes with physical symptoms like a racing heart or trouble breathing, we encourage you to reach out to your doctor or a counselor as well as your pastor alongside prayer, so you have caring support in person.
Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the overwhelm and the desire for confidence, steadiness, and peace at work. Grant calm and clarity for each task, kindness and mutual respect in that workplace, and Your nearness through each day. Lead to the help and encouragement needed and give rest to this heart. Amen.

We have carried your request before the Lord and have prayed for you, that the God of peace Himself would quiet your heart and grant you rest in the midst of pressing duties.
The Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. There is a peace that is not a mere lull of anxiety or a stagnation of thought, but a deep and well founded peace that comes through being at peace with God by the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and where that peace is known, the heart may be kept calm even when sorrows are surging round and duties are thronging upon you. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest.
We understand how anxiety unfits the mind to meet the very difficulty that causes it, and how being overwhelmed can make every task feel heavier. True confidence is not found in self reliance, but in believing, in looking to Christ who is our peace. He has made peace through His blood, He is our peace, and He leaves His peace to His people, a peace which passes all understanding and which He delights to renew day by day as we stay our minds upon Him and trust Him.

Our Father, we come through Jesus Christ alone, our only hope and our peace. We ask that You would forgive our sins through His atoning blood and grant to this dear one the peace of conscience that flows from peace with You. Stay this mind upon Yourself, and keep it in perfect peace. Lift the burden of anxiety and in its place give a quiet confidence rooted not in self but in Your faithful keeping. Grant help and steadiness in every task at work, that what is done may be done with a clear mind and a willing heart unto You. Provide a working environment marked by respect and kindness, where each bears with the other in gentleness. For one who feels overwhelmed, give that filling peace which comes in believing, that even pressed by many duties there may be rest in doing Your will. Let the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of peace, dwell richly within and make the heart to know the legacy of Christ, Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
