We hear your heart and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord, for He cares deeply about your peace and your daily work. To feel overwhelmed and anxious is a heavy trial, but Scripture reminds us that anxiety is not from God and that we are invited to cast our cares upon Him. We are told in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And again in 1 Peter 5:7, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. The Lord does not want you to live in fear or lack confidence, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. And Isaiah 41:10 reminds us Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We also lift up your work before the Lord. We pray that He will give you clarity, diligence and confidence in every task, and that your workplace will be marked by mutual respect and peace. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men as Colossians 3:23 teaches, and when we offer our work to Him, He is faithful to equip us and sustain us. We pray for a comfortable and respectful environment for you and your coworkers, where each person honors the other, and we encourage you to continue to be an example of grace and respect there, trusting God to guard your heart. Psalm 55:22 says Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. And Jesus Himself offers you His peace in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

Lord, we ask that You remove the spirit of anxiety and overwhelm and replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Grant confidence not in self but in You, who strengthens and upholds with Your righteous right hand. Give power, love and self-control for each day. Lord, bless the work of their hands, give wisdom and focus for every task, and let all that is done be done for Your glory. Your request has come before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace on your behalf, asking the God of peace to grant you that settled rest which only He can give.
We hear how anxiety has pressed upon you and how the duties of your daily work have become a burden, and we pray that the Lord will keep you in that perfect peace which is promised to the mind that is stayed upon Him, because it trusts in Him. As it is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is not a peace that the world can give, nor the false peace which is but a thin crust over a troubled heart, but the peace of God which passes all understanding, which shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
We have asked the Lord Jesus, the Prince of Peace, the Lord of Peace Himself, to give you peace always and by all means. He is the God of peace who justifies the sinner through the blood of the everlasting covenant, and who restores and preserves peace when it is made. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus is rest even when thronging duties press upon us. May you find that your confidence is not in your own strength, but in Him who is your refuge, so that you may say with quiet assurance, in the shadow of Your wings will I make my refuge.

Anxiety can feel like a great wave that overwhelms the soul and chokes out peace, but true confidence does not come from our own strength or from having everything in order. It comes from virtue and the fear of God and from holding fast to our hope in Christ firm to the end.
I pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have peace with God. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May He calm your anxious thoughts and replace fear with a steady and quiet trust, so that you are not overwhelmed, but upheld by His grace. As you turn to Him and seek Him, He will make you more bold and give you confidence, for He cares for you and hears those who call upon Him.
