We join with you in prayer and we hear the weight of what you are carrying, this feeling of being overwhelmed and anxious, and we bring it before the Lord together.
The Word tells us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We are also reminded to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Anxiety is not a failure on your part, but it is a signal to cast your cares on Him, for He invites you to exchange your worry for His peace. God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. True confidence does not come from ourselves or from having everything under control, but from knowing that He is with us and upholds us. He says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. We ask that You would calm the anxious thoughts and quiet the overwhelmed heart. Lord, replace fear with Your perfect peace, the peace that You promised when You said Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. John 14:27. Grant confidence that is rooted in Christ, knowing that You are able and that You are near. We pray for all the tasks at work, that You would give clarity of mind, strength for each duty, and diligence to work heartily as for You. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. We ask that You establish the work of these hands and commit these tasks to You, for Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3. We also pray for the working environment, that it would be comfortable and marked by mutual respect and kindness, that each person would seek to live peaceably and honor one another, for If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18. Let Your peace rule in that workplace and guard this mind and heart.
We want to gently encourage you that we come to the Father only through Jesus. We noticed your request closed with Amen but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to remind you how precious that name is. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is only by believing in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we have access to God and the assurance that He hears our prayers. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Him.
We encourage you to continue to bring every worry to Him daily in prayer, to rest in His Word, and to remember that He is your strength for each task. He is faithful to give you peace of mind as you abide in Him, and He will equip you for all He has called you to do. We are praying for you to experience His calm, His confidence, and His comfort in the days ahead.
