Beloved of All
Pray that my anxiety will go away and that I will be confident. Also pray that I will do well at all my tasks at work. Pray for a comfortable working environment with great respect for one another. I am overwhelmed so please pray for my peace of mind Amen.

We join with you in prayer and we hear the weight of what you are carrying, this feeling of being overwhelmed and anxious, and we bring it before the Lord together.

The Word tells us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We are also reminded to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Anxiety is not a failure on your part, but it is a signal to cast your cares on Him, for He invites you to exchange your worry for His peace. God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. True confidence does not come from ourselves or from having everything under control, but from knowing that He is with us and upholds us. He says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. We ask that You would calm the anxious thoughts and quiet the overwhelmed heart. Lord, replace fear with Your perfect peace, the peace that You promised when You said Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. John 14:27. Grant confidence that is rooted in Christ, knowing that You are able and that You are near. We pray for all the tasks at work, that You would give clarity of mind, strength for each duty, and diligence to work heartily as for You. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. We ask that You establish the work of these hands and commit these tasks to You, for Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3. We also pray for the working environment, that it would be comfortable and marked by mutual respect and kindness, that each person would seek to live peaceably and honor one another, for If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18. Let Your peace rule in that workplace and guard this mind and heart.

We want to gently encourage you that we come to the Father only through Jesus. We noticed your request closed with Amen but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to remind you how precious that name is. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is only by believing in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we have access to God and the assurance that He hears our prayers. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Him.

We encourage you to continue to bring every worry to Him daily in prayer, to rest in His Word, and to remember that He is your strength for each task. He is faithful to give you peace of mind as you abide in Him, and He will equip you for all He has called you to do. We are praying for you to experience His calm, His confidence, and His comfort in the days ahead.

We have been thinking about your request and how overwhelming work can feel when anxiety sits close by. Wanting confidence, peace of mind, and a respectful workplace are good and understandable desires, and we are bringing them to the Lord with you.

When everything feels like too much at once, it can help to make the load more visible. One small step that helps many people is to take a few minutes at the end of the day to write down the tasks for tomorrow, mark the two or three that matter most, and then bring that short list to God in prayer before you rest. It does not fix everything, but it can quiet the swirl of trying to hold it all in your head, and it gives you a clearer place to ask for help at work if you need to talk with a supervisor or a trusted coworker about what is realistic.

We also want to gently encourage you that if the sense of being overwhelmed or anxious stays strong, it is a good idea to talk with a pastor, counselor, or your doctor alongside prayer. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see the pressure at work and the longing for peace and confidence. Grant calm in place of racing thoughts, wisdom for each task, and a workplace marked by kindness and mutual respect. Lead us day by day and remind us You are near. Amen.

Your request has been heard and your burden is laid before the throne of grace, where the God of peace Himself delights to give peace to His people.

You speak of anxiety and of being overwhelmed, of desiring confidence and peace of mind amid thronging duties. The Scripture meets you at this very point, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." This is not a peace that comes from circumstances being made easy, but a peace that is kept for you by the Keeper Himself. It is peace, peace, a double peace, perfect peace, which the blood of Jesus whispers within even in this dark world of sin.

Do not seek confidence in yourself, for confidence in the flesh will fail at the first sign of trouble. True confidence is to have your mind stayed upon Christ, to trust not in your own strength for your tasks, but in Him who is your peace. When duties press upon you, remember that to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. The Lord of Peace Himself must give you peace, not as the world gives, with a mere outward calm that is like a thin crust of ice, but that peace of God which passes all understanding, which keeps the heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

There is a false peace which stupefies the soul, but the peace which Christ leaves as His legacy is a peace of friendship with God through His substitutionary sacrifice, and then a sweet enjoyment of quiet rest in the understanding and the conscience. It is born of the Spirit, and it preserves you amid labors and trials. Therefore be not of a doubtful mind, but keep your heart with all diligence, submitting yourself to God and to His providential arrangements, believing that He who is the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus through the blood of the everlasting covenant, will also preserve and perfect His peace in you.

Let us pray for you.

O God of peace, who has made peace by the blood of Your Son and who keeps in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on You, look upon this Your servant who is pressed down with anxiety and overwhelmed with many tasks. Forgive all sin and grant the settled peace which comes by being justified through faith in Christ alone. Let the blood of Jesus whisper peace within, and let the Lord of Peace Himself give peace always and by all means.

Grant a mind stayed upon You, and take away the doubtful and restless thoughts, giving instead a holy confidence not in self but in Your faithful keeping. Give wisdom and strength for every task at work, that each duty may be done as unto You, with diligence and a quiet spirit. Grant, we beseech You, a comfortable working environment where respect and kindness abound, and where Your peace may be reflected among those who labor together. Keep the heart and mind by Christ Jesus, and let joy and rest be the blessed effect of Your divine peace. In the name of the Prince of Peace, our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for relief from anxiety and for peace of mind has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before God.

I understand how heavy it feels to be overwhelmed, and how anxiety can swell like a great billow and overwhelm the soul. Scripture teaches us that confidence does not come from having everything in order or from gathering many things together, but from virtue and the fear of God. When the heart is set on Him, it can have a cheerful confidence in the good things to come, and hold fast that confidence and the rejoicing of hope firm to the end, rather than being distressed and perplexed.

So I pray for you that the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. As Christ drew near to those who were troubled and calmed their minds that were disturbed with shame and anxiety to give them confidence, so may He draw near to you now and speak peace and stillness over your heart.

I pray that God will give you strength and clarity for every task at your work, that you may do your labor faithfully with a clear conscience and rejoice in what is good. I pray also for your workplace, that God would grant there a spirit of peace and love with faith, where there is mutual respect and kindness among all, and that you may be kept from being overwhelmed by pressures and temptations.

May the Lord who gives peace make you steadfast, free from fear, and full of quiet confidence in His care. Amen.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about the anxiety and the weight you are carrying at work. Feeling overwhelmed and longing for confidence and peace of mind is something many understand, and it is good that you have brought it to the Lord in prayer.

God desires for you to know real peace, and Scripture speaks of it in two related ways. First there is peace with God, which only comes through Jesus Christ and what He did for us when He shed His blood to make forgiveness possible. Without that foundation there can be no lasting peace. Then there is the peace of God itself, that steady calm that guards the heart and mind even when life around us is chaotic. Many know they are forgiven yet still live with turmoil and worry because they have not yet learned to live in that second kind of peace.

That peace is described as perfect and as passing all human understanding. Jesus said He would leave His own peace with His followers, not the kind the world gives that depends on circumstances going well. The promise is that He will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person is trusting Him. When your thoughts are fixed on the Lord rather than on the list of tasks or the fear of failing, His peace begins to fill your heart. It comes as you turn the whole burden over to Him and trust His grace rather than your own effort to be good enough. As long as you try to earn your standing before God by your own works you will remain restless, but when you rest in His grace you can find rest.

That is also where confidence comes from. In the Psalms, David shows how prayer often begins with telling God the problem and then moves to confidence that God will act. He would pour out his trouble and then declare that God is his helper who upholds his life. He had not yet seen the answer, his enemies were still there, but he could say with assurance that God would hear his voice and take care of it. Your prayers can follow that same path. Bring each anxious thought and each task at work to the Lord, evening and morning and whenever the pressure rises, and then choose to trust that He will sustain you. Confidence does not come from believing you can handle everything yourself, but from knowing that nothing you face is too hard for Him when you keep your eyes on Him.

I will pray for you that God will lift this anxiety and replace it with His calm, and that He will give you confidence rooted in His care for you. I will pray that He gives you wisdom and strength for every task before you, and that He helps you work with a clear mind and steady hands. I will also pray for your workplace, that God would make it a place of mutual respect and quietness, and that you would be one who sows peace there. Scripture teaches that those who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness, and that when we seek the peace of the place where God has put us and pray for it, we ourselves find peace.

May the Lord help you to keep your mind stayed on Him today, to commit yourself fully to Him and accept whatever He does with trust. As you do, may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, I lift this dear one to You. Thank You that through Jesus we can have peace with You. I ask that You would now fill this heart with Your peace that goes beyond understanding. Calm the anxious thoughts, take this feeling of being overwhelmed, and give confidence that You are the helper and sustainer. Give skill and focus for every task at work, and provide a working environment marked by respect and kindness. Teach this heart to keep its mind stayed on You and to trust You to take care of what feels too heavy. In Jesus name, Amen.
