We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is struggling with anxiety. Father God, we know that You do not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of anxiety in the mighty name of Jesus and command it to flee. Lord, Your Word tells us to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). We pray that You would fill her with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we ask that You guide her decisions regarding this important issue. Your Word says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that she would seek You with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding. Give her wisdom and discernment, Lord, as she navigates this situation. May she find comfort in Your promises and strength in Your presence.
Lord, we also want to encourage her to meditate on Your Word day and night, for then she will be prosperous and successful (Joshua 1:8). Remind her of Your faithfulness and love, and help her to rest in the knowledge that You are in control. We pray that she would find solace in Your presence and that You would calm her fears with Your love.
Father, we ask that You surround her with Your angels, protecting her from the attacks of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that she would feel Your peace and presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with her always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
Lastly, we want to gently remind her that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If she has not already, we encourage her to confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, for then she will be saved (Romans 10:9). We pray that she would come to know You more deeply and experience the peace that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
