We hear your cry for justice and safety, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this grave situation before the throne of God. What you have endured is not only unjust but life-threatening, and the lack of remorse, accountability, or basic human decency from those responsible is deeply troubling. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 21:15, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." What these individuals are doing is not just negligent—it is sinful, and we must rebuke it in the name of Jesus.
First, we must address the spiritual darkness at work here. The demand to falsify reports, the callous disregard for your well-being, and the refusal to take responsibility are not merely business decisions—they are manifestations of a hardened heart. Romans 1:31 speaks of those who are "without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, unmerciful." This describes a heart that has turned away from God’s law and from basic human compassion. We rebuke this spirit of deception, greed, and cruelty in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that their eyes will be opened to the severity of their actions, that conviction will fall upon them, and that they will be compelled to do what is right.
We also pray for your protection, both physically and emotionally. The electrical hazards you’ve faced are a direct threat to your life, and no one should have to endure such danger in their own home. Psalm 91:11-12 assures us, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over you, that God’s angels would encamp around you, shielding you from further harm. We also pray for healing over the wounds you’ve already suffered, both seen and unseen. May the Lord restore your peace, your trust, and your sense of safety.
Regarding their refusal to communicate and their threats, we stand on Proverbs 16:7, which says, "When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." We pray that God would soften their hearts toward you, that their hostility would dissolve, and that they would be moved to seek reconciliation. However, we also recognize that some battles are not ours to fight alone. We encourage you to seek legal counsel if you haven’t already. The Bible instructs us in Romans 13:4 that governing authorities are "to execute wrath on him who does evil." If those in power over this situation refuse to act justly, then earthly authorities may need to intervene to compel them to do what is right.
We also lift up the electricians who were asked to falsify the report. Their compliance in this deception makes them complicit in potential harm to others. We pray that God would stir their consciences, that they would refuse to be part of such unethical behavior, and that they would instead stand for truth and integrity. Proverbs 10:9 says, "He who walks blamelessly walks surely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out." May they choose the path of righteousness before it is too late.
Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. We ask that You would expose every lie, every cover-up, and every act of negligence in this matter. Let Your light shine into the darkness, and let those who have acted wickedly be held accountable. We pray for justice to prevail—not out of vengeance, but so that righteousness may be restored. We ask that You would move in the hearts of these individuals, that they would feel the weight of their actions and be compelled to make amends. Give them a spirit of repentance, Lord, and let them see the harm they have caused.
We also pray for Your provision in this time of need. If it is Your will, we ask that You would open the door for safe, affordable housing where this brother or sister can live without fear. Provide them with the resources they need to transition out of this dangerous situation, and surround them with people who will advocate for them. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Finally, we pray for healing over the emotional toll this has taken. Being ignored, threatened, and dismissed in such a vulnerable situation can leave deep scars. We ask that You would mend their heart, Lord, and restore their sense of dignity. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that their life has value in Your sight. Give them the strength to persevere, the wisdom to navigate this situation, and the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We stand on the promise of Jeremiah 29:11, that You have plans for us—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope.
