Answered Prayer!

I just have to share this because it's pretty amazing!

I've been tutoring this awesome second grader for a while, but his sister has always been nasty towards me, challenging me, and making fun of me. I was tutoring her too for a while, but had to stop because she wasn't listening or doing any work. A month has passed, and I've continued tutoring her brother (who is sweet and cooperative), but not her. The other night, her dad asked if I would resume tutoring his daughter (the 'mean' one). I said I'd talk to him about it another time because I was running late.

So this morning, I as I prayed, I fervently cried out to God that I really don't want to tutor this girl, and -furthermore - don't even want to set foot in the family's house tonight. I asked God to relieve me of the burden of dealing with her and JUST THEN, I got a text from her mom asking me if I could tutor her SON (only) AT TARGET (not at their house) because she "had to pick up a few things tonight." Immediately I started laughing, thanking God for his timing and sense of humor, then I received this text message: "Peaceful resolution!!!"

(?!?!?!?!)

What's funny is that I never told her mom I was struggling with this situation, so I'm shocked. That's really a Wow God moment....!

I am so happy for you and for God wonderful answer to prayer. But, are you praying for the girl that is hard to keep her quiet and pay attention to what she should learn? Jesus can change her heart too. Sometimes satan uses all kinds of tricks on anyone to make us all angry and disgusted but if we cast out the devil and ask Jesus to intervene, satan will flee from us and the peace that passeth all understanding shall fill our heart with joy.

Vermeer, it's funny you should ask me to pray for this girl. You're right that I should pray for her more often. What's interesting is that she ended up coming along with her brother to the meeting yesterday (after I posted this praise) and I had complete peace with her. She was friendly to me and agreed to listen to me if I should tutor her again in the future! That's another true miracle. But yes, I do pray that any influence on this girl (if it should be negative) be broken, and that God turn this girl around to be a spokesperson for Him! Amen.

Father, I ask for a clear sign that lets Laorana know what she should do next.
Also, please bring her husband to repentance because he needs it.
He should not be treating Your daughter that way!
And he needs to know it from You

Our Father hates divorce, but He doesn't want to see you mistreated either! I believe He will come through for you!
