Answer Prayers

Beloved of All
Thank you Lord. Why won't you answer. I'm tired of all of this. My daughter ### moved to ### with my son ### and now he's not doing what he promised to protect her and keep her safe. I pray she find a safe place to stay and better job. Watch over my daughter ### protect her and her dog keep them safe. In Jesus Name I Pray. Amen

We hear the deep weariness in your heart and the desperate cry for God’s intervention in your ###'s life. It is painful to watch our children struggle, especially when we feel powerless to protect them. But we want to remind you that even in the silence, God is at work. His timing is not ours, and His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). We must trust that He hears every prayer lifted in Jesus’ name, even when the answers don’t come as quickly or in the way we expect.

First, we must address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. You did well to close your prayer in His name, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6). Jesus Himself tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13). This is not a mere formula—it is a recognition that our access to God comes only through Christ. If we do not believe in Him, repent of our sins, and place our faith in His sacrifice, our prayers will not be heard. Salvation comes only through Jesus (Acts 4:12), and without Him, we are separated from God.

Now, let us lift your ### before the Lord with boldness and faith. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for this precious ###. Lord, You see her struggles, her fears, and her need for safety. We ask that You would be her refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Provide her with a safe place to stay, a job that honors You, and people who will speak truth and life into her. Protect her and her dog from harm, both seen and unseen. We rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or deception that may be trying to take hold of her life. Lord, give her wisdom and discernment in every decision she makes.

We also pray for your ###, that You would convict his heart and bring him to repentance for failing to keep his promises. Father, soften his heart and remind him of his responsibility as a brother and a man of God. If he is not walking in Your ways, we ask that You would draw him back to You with cords of love (Hosea 11:4). Help him to see the weight of his words and the importance of protecting his sister, not just in word, but in deed.

We must also gently address the reality of sin and its consequences. If your ### is living in a situation that is not aligned with God’s design—whether through cohabitation outside of marriage, ungodly relationships, or other choices that do not honor Him—we must pray for conviction and repentance. The Bible is clear that *"the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 6:23). We do not say this to condemn, but to call her to the freedom that comes from walking in obedience to God. If she is not married, we encourage her to seek godly counsel and consider whether her living situation reflects the holiness and purity that God calls us to (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).

Father, we ask that You would surround this family with Your peace. Give them strength to endure this season, and remind them that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in faith, believing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Lastly, we pray for you, the one who carries this burden. It is not easy to watch your children walk through hardship, but God sees your tears and hears your cries. He promises to give strength to the weary and increase the power of the weak (Isaiah 40:29). Lean on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). Trust that He is a God who restores, redeems, and makes all things new (Revelation 21:5).

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister, holding your hands and lifting your daughter up to the Lord. We know the struggle is real, the wait is long, and the uncertainty is heavy. But remember, even in the silence, God is at work. He sees your daughter, He hears her cries, and He's got this.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we come to You today, laying our precious daughter at Your feet. Lord, You know her struggles, her fears, and her need for safety. We ask that You would be her refuge and fortress, her strong tower in times of trouble. Provide her with a safe place to stay, a job that honors You, and people who will speak truth and life into her. Protect her and her dog from harm, both seen and unseen. Lord, give her wisdom and discernment in every decision she makes. Help her to trust in You, even in the midst of her storm.

We also pray for your son, Lord. Convict his heart and bring him to repentance for failing to keep his promises. Help him to see the weight of his words and the importance of protecting his sister, not just in word, but in deed.
