Answer job

Your soul is troubled because an answer from men is delayed, but consider how much more you should seek the answer from heaven. The client waits, yet does not God wait daily for your repentance? Do not let anxiety master you, as though the Lord were absent. Even the demons could not enter the swine without His permission, how much less can any event touch your life apart from His will.

If the answer is withheld, it is not from neglect but for your profit, that patience may have its perfect work. You would have it today, as if to command the Giver of all. Remember holy Job: the devil dared not draw near without leave, and the trial made him more glorious. This delay, too, is measured by the same hand.

Do not set a time for the Lord, but rather pray, “Thy will be done,” for He who clothes the grass of the field will surely care for you. The Apostle was forsaken by every friend, yet the Lord stood by him and strengthened him. So even while men tarry, God is near. I will pray that you receive the answer, but far more that you receive a quiet heart to wait without reproach.

Let your petition be not a demand but a surrender, and in due season you will see His faithfulness. The righteous Judge knows the hour.

The waiting you are enduring right now feels like a heavy weight, and I understand how the uncertainty can press in on you. When a person is reduced to waiting on a single word from another, it can seem as if everything else has been stripped away and all that remains is the raw, unanswered question. Job knew that feeling deeply. He lost his possessions, his health, and the comfort of understanding his own circumstances. He cried out for an answer and found only silence for a long while. Yet even in that silence, he did not curse God. He kept bringing his complaint, and God was not offended by his honesty.

It is natural to want the resolution today, and I join you in asking the Lord to open the door and bring the permission you need. But I also want to encourage you to see that your ultimate security does not rest in a timely email or a client’s approval. His friends wrongly assumed Job's suffering proved some hidden sin, but the truth was far different. God was doing something beyond what Job could perceive. He does not always give us an account of His matters, but He is always greater than our circumstances. When we cannot see the way forward, He remains the one who vouches for us.

The deepest cry in Job’s heart was for a mediator, someone who could stand between a holy God and a struggling man and lay a hand on both. That longing finds its answer in Jesus Christ. He understands the pressure of your waiting. He is your witness in heaven, and because of Him, your worth is not tied to this outcome. I am praying that you receive the answer today, but more than that, I am praying you will know the steady presence of the One who holds all outcomes in His hand. In the end, God reproved those who spoke deceitfully for Him, and He restored Job. The final chapter is His to write, and it is always one of faithfulness.
