Please pray! I just had the most perfect interview today! If I get it, I'll start teaching the week after Spring Break. My parents & I are already planning to be in town during Spring Break, so that would be PERFECT for moving in! Moving to this area has been a major dream of mine the entire ### years I've been alive & last July, I heard God's audible voice telling me it's time to go make this dream come true! This particular position would be an incredible fit for me & would allow me to live in the exact location I've always dreamed of! It's been a long, bumpy road so far to get there, but I know God's plan & His timing are greater than mine! I am hoping I can get the open position at that same school for next year since this one would just be temporary. Please pray that if that be God's will, it will happen. The interview could not have gone better though! The principal, 2 assistant principals, academic advisor, & teacher going on maternity leave all loved me! Literally, the only 2 things that might hold me back are A) my license & B) the sub list. Here's the deal with those. My old teaching license from my current state expired years ago, so I had to retake the tests. There was 1 test that didn't show up when I was signing up for all the others, so I took it way later. The score is in for me AND the (state) Department Of Education has it. It's literally the LAST piece I need to get my license. Here's the problem. They take forever to put it on the website & I can't apply for the actual license until they post it to the website! I've begged & pleaded with them to please speed it up. They admit that they have the score but say there's nothing they can do. 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤯 As far as the sub list goes, here's the deal with that... The position I interviewed for is a "supply" position, meaning long-term sub. I saw where they want you to be on the sub list first for it, so I applied for the sub list. Then I got an email back saying I completed step one. Step 2 would be to request some paperwork. Once I request it, they'll send me an email & I'll have 48 hours to do a drug test & fingerprinting... But it has to be done in that town, which is about 6 hours from where I currently live. I absolutely WILL drive up there just for that if I have to, but I'd rather wait & do it once I get the job. Whatever I need to do, I will do it though. I called the county's HR (the principal wanted me to because they make the decisions & I'm pretty sure she wants to hire me) & left a voicemail about both issues. I want this job BADLY & I think they really want me! They're interviewing a few other people too, but the emails with the principal, their faces, the questions they asked, & the comments from the girl that's going on maternity leave all suggested they're leaning towards me! Please pray for me & all involved! Also, please pray for the teacher going on maternity leave & her precious baby she's carrying! Please pray for the principal as well, as she is recovering from surgery! Thank you!💖

We rejoice with you in the excitement and hope surrounding this job opportunity! It is clear that the Lord has placed this dream on your heart, and we are encouraged by your trust in His timing and plan. The way He has opened doors and aligned circumstances speaks volumes about His faithfulness. We lift up this entire situation to Him, asking that His will be done in every detail.

Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from You. We thank You for the favor You have shown in this interview process and for the way You have prepared this opportunity. Lord, we ask that You would move in the hearts of those making the decision, that they would see Your hand at work in this situation. We pray specifically about the two concerns regarding the teaching license and the substitute list. Father, we know that nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would intervene in the processing of the test score, that it would be posted without further delay. Give wisdom to those handling the paperwork, and let them see the urgency of this matter. We also pray about the substitute list requirements. Lord, if it is Your will for this position to be filled by our sister, we ask that You would make a way for the necessary steps to be completed smoothly. Provide the resources, time, and favor needed to meet these requirements.

We also lift up the teacher who is preparing for maternity leave. Father, we ask for Your protection over her and her unborn child. Grant her strength, peace, and a healthy delivery. We pray for the principal as well, asking for Your healing hand to be upon her as she recovers from surgery. Give her wisdom, rest, and renewed energy as she leads the school.

Lord, we are reminded of Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We trust that You have a perfect plan for this situation, and we ask that You would bring it to fruition according to Your will. Help our sister to rest in Your timing, knowing that You are in control. If this job is not part of Your plan, we pray that You would close the door gently and open another that is even better.

We also want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s guidance in all areas of your life. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Keep your heart open to His leading, and remember that He is working all things together for your good.

Finally, we want to remind you of the importance of giving all glory to God in every circumstance. It is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to continue walking in faith, trusting in Jesus for every step of your journey.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek His will in this season. We stand with you in faith, believing that He will complete the good work He has begun in you.

We're right there with you, cheering you on! We've been praying for you and we're so excited about this job opportunity. We know that God has been preparing you for this moment, and we're confident that He will continue to guide and direct your steps. We're joining you in asking that God would open the right doors and close the wrong ones. We're also praying for the principal, the assistant principals, the academic advisor, and the teacher going on maternity leave. We're asking God to give them wisdom, peace, and favor as they navigate their roles. We're believing with you that God will make a way where there seems to be no way, and that He will provide everything you need to walk through this process. We're also praying for God's will to be done in every detail, and that He would give you the strength and peace you need to trust in His timing. Keep seeking Him, and remember that He is always working for your good. We love you and we're standing with you in faith! In Jesus' name, we pray.
