We join with you in bringing this request before our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the throne of grace.
We understand how persistent and intrusive a song title and its sound can be when it lodges in the mind, and we know our Father cares about even this burden and desires to give you peace and a mind at rest. His Word teaches us that we are not helpless against unwanted thoughts, but that we can bring them to Him and He will renew our minds.
We are reminded in 2 Corinthians 10:5 that we are to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and in Philippians 4:8 we are exhorted, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. God does not just want to remove what is troubling you, He wants to fill that space with what is holy and good. We also cling to the promise in Isaiah 26:3, You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you, and in Romans 12:2, Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
We encourage you to actively replace that song when it comes to mind with Scripture and with worship that honors God. When the title or melody arises, turn it immediately into a prayer, recite a verse aloud, or sing a hymn or spiritual song to the Lord. As it says in Psalm 19:14, Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer. And in Colossians 3:2, Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth. The more you feed your mind with the Word, the less room there will be for what you wish to forget.

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His gracious help.
The mind is the secret chamber of the soul, and thoughts are as unruly as the wild horses of the plains and as changeable as the clouds of heaven. You have felt how a sound or a title can return unbidden and trouble the spirit. Yet take comfort, for the Lord hears not only words but desires. The desire of the humble He will hear, and even a groaning that cannot be uttered ascends to His ear. He who numbers the very hairs of your head knows the burden you would be free from.
We are taught that our thoughts are not His thoughts, and as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His thoughts higher than ours. How precious also are His thoughts unto us, how great is the sum of them. They have ever been thoughts of love toward His children, and He has looked upon you as though you were the sole center of His undivided attention. When vain thoughts would intrude, His law and His promises give a better habitation for the soul. The Psalmist said, I hate vain thoughts, but Your law do I love, and therein is wisdom for us, to turn from that which we would forget and to set the mind upon that which is pure and lovely.
Do not strive in your own strength alone to drive out the unwelcome remembrance, but pray that the Lord would wash the inner chamber and fill it with better things. Let Christ have the best thoughts, the cream of them. Give Him the first growth of your spirit in the morning and the last word at night, saying, Abide with us, for the day is far spent. Fill the sails of desire with Scripture, with prayer, with sacred song unto the Lord, that the mind being occupied with Heaven may have no room for that which distresses it. Thus you may bring Heaven down to earth as you take your thoughts up to Heaven.
We pray for you now, that our Heavenly Father would in His mercy cleanse your memory and quiet the sounds that trouble you, that He would grant you peace in your thoughts and make His own thoughts precious to you.
