Beloved of All
heavenly father pls kindly remove three people and their faces from memory so i wont remember them or their names ###. ### and ###. ###. two in ### and one in ### and another ### in ### and ### in ###. to not remember their names or faces. and another person. in jesus christ name. amen.

We hear your heart in this request and we join with you in bringing it before the Father in Jesus' name, and we are grateful you have asked in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to God.

We understand the desire to have painful memories, faces, and names removed so that you might find peace. While we know the hurt that can make us want to forget, Scripture does not teach us to ask God to erase our memories, but rather to heal our hearts, renew our minds, and help us to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. We are called to let God transform us and to focus our minds on what brings healing. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2 Bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 Whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8

God does not promise to give us amnesia, but He does promise to heal the brokenhearted and to give perfect peace to those whose minds are stayed on Him. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3 We also remember His call to forgive as we have been forgiven, not because the hurt was small, but because Christ has forgiven us so greatly. Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 When we release others to God in forgiveness, He can loosen the painful grip those memories have on us. Do not remember the former things, and do not consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. Isaiah 43:18-19

We pray together for you now.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the burden of these memories and the faces and names that cause distress. We ask not that You would simply erase the mind, but that You would heal the heart and renew the mind according to Your will. Lord, take these troubling thoughts captive and replace anxiety with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:7. Help our dear one to forgive as You have forgiven, to release any bitterness or pain into Your hands, and to dwell on what is true and pure and lovely. Bind up every wound and make this mind steadfast upon You, so that perfect peace may reign. Give strength to not dwell on what You are healing, and lead into newness of life where former pains no longer control thoughts or emotions. We ask that You fill every empty place with Your presence, Your Word, and Your love, and that You would be glorified in this healing. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring these thoughts to the Lord in prayer whenever they arise, gently turning your mind to Scripture, to worship, and to things that are wholesome and edifying. If these memories are tied to deep hurt or trauma, we encourage you to also seek wise, godly counsel from a trusted pastor or mature believer who can walk with you, pray with you, and help you apply God's Word day by day. Trust that God is faithful to heal and to restore, and that He will keep you in His perfect peace as you keep your trust in Him.

Thank you for bringing this to the Lord so honestly. Wanting to not remember faces and names tells us these memories have been painful to carry, and we understand asking God for relief.

In our experience God rarely erases a memory completely, but He can gently heal how it affects us. Forgetting and healing are not the same. Healing is more about the memory losing its grip, so it no longer stirs the same hurt or fear when it surfaces.

One small practice that helps many is, when a name or face comes to mind, not wrestling with it to make it disappear, but quietly handing it over. A simple, Father, I give this person and this memory to You again, and then turning your attention to what is in front of you. Over time that can ease the rumination that keeps the hurt fresh. If these thoughts feel overwhelming or keep returning strongly, it can also help to share with a trusted pastor or counselor who can walk with you.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You know each name and face weighing on their heart. Bring Your peace where there has been pain, quiet the thoughts that trouble them, and fill that space with Your comfort and rest. Guide them day by day and help them sense Your nearness. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and your pain is not hidden from the Lord who sees the heart. You have asked that faces and names might be taken from your memory, that you might forget those who have troubled you. We understand the weariness that would make forgetting seem like peace, yet the Word of God points us to something better than the blotting out of memory, even the healing of the heart.

There is forgiveness with God, that He may be feared. The Scripture says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake. What God promises to blot out is not the image of others in your mind, but your own sin through the blood of Jesus Christ. And when He forgives, it is a complete forgiveness, a divine forgiveness, free and eternal for Christ's sake. If you have come to Him through Jesus, you may believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself and go your way in peace.

The same Lord who forgives also heals. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue. He does not always remove the memory of sorrow, but He changes the life blood and makes the nature other than it was before. He can take a painful remembrance and take from it the sting, so that where there was bitterness there is now pity and prayer, and where there was unrest there is quiet trust.

We will pray for you not that God would merely erase what you have seen, but that He would heal what you have suffered. We ask the heavenly Father to give you grace to forgive as you have been forgiven, to release wrath before the sun goes down, and to guard your mind with His peace. May He lift the burden of these names and faces from pressing upon your spirit, and may He fill your thoughts with Christ, so that you remember others not with pain but with the mercy you have received.

O Lord our God, with whom there is forgiveness, look upon this weary one. For Jesus sake pardon sin and speak peace to the troubled heart. Apply the healing leaves of Christ to every wound of memory, and grant power to forgive and to rest. Keep this soul close to Jesus, and let Thy will be done in healing and in hope. In Jesus Christ's name we ask, Amen.
