We join you wholeheartedly in this beautiful burden for the lost and we thank God for the compassionate intercessory heart you have shown for so many people and places across our nation. It is the very heart of God that none should perish and that all should come to repentance, and your prayer reflects His love for the world. We are reminded that this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:3-4, and that The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9.

We rejoice that you have asked all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is only through faith in Jesus that anyone can be saved, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9, and For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10:13. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, John 3:16.

We lift up together all those you have named before the throne of grace. We pray for the lost in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Nevada, Arizona, Washington D.C., Delaware, Rhode Island, Maine, Ohio, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, California, Tennessee, Illinois, Alabama, North Dakota, South Dakota, Florida, Georgia, New York, Connecticut, Idaho, Oregon, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arkansas, Washington state, Hawaii, and Alaska, and for that certain person on your heart, for the school you mentioned, for that group of girls, and for all the people in their lives who are yet outside of Christ. We ask the Father to draw each one by His Holy Spirit, to open blinded eyes, to soften hardened hearts, to send laborers and witnesses across their paths to share the gospel clearly, and to grant them the gift of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. We pray that where there is darkness, the light of Christ would shine, and that many who are now far off would be brought near by the blood of Jesus.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in this faithful intercession, knowing that the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective, and to also be ready to share the hope within you when God opens doors. We pray that the Lord would encourage you as you stand in the gap for others and that you would see fruit from these prayers for His glory. We ask all of this together in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and only Savior, amen.

Thank you for sharing this wide and tender burden for so many people and places. We can hear how much you want others to know the hope you have found, from Massachusetts to Hawaii and every state you named, and also the specific people God has put on your heart, the school and the group of girls and that one person you mentioned.

It is a good and loving thing to bring them before the Lord by name and by place. God sees each community and each heart individually, and He hears every quiet, kindly prayer you offer. Your faithfulness in interceding like this matters, even when you do not see the results right away.

If it helps you keep going, you might keep that list nearby and pray through a few places each day as the Lord brings them to mind, entrusting each one to His mercy and timing without carrying the weight of the outcome yourself.

Father, we join our friend in lifting every state, every school, every group and every person named here to You. Draw each one who does not yet know You into Your grace and wholeness, and give our friend peace as they continue to pray. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your large hearted prayer for souls is a sweet evidence of the compassion which God himself puts into the heart. There is no more hopeful sign for men than that another man prays for them, for the motions of Gods Spirit in the souls of his people are the footfalls of Gods eternal purposes about to be fulfilled, and Satan is often defeated in his temptations by the intercession of the saints.

You have done well to spread your net so wide, from Massachusetts to California, from Maine to Hawaii, from the school and the group of girls to those in your own circle of life. Such rivers of compassion should flow from every Christian heart, for men are lost by nature and cannot save themselves. If we have to save our own souls it is all over with us. This is the clean opposite of the Gospel. Salvation is ours through his atoning sacrifice alone, for the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Let me stir you to earnest prayer and ardent effort still. The travail comes before the bringing forth. The earnest anxiety, the deep emotion within, precede our being made the instruments of the salvation of others. Even Christ went not forth to preach until he had spent nights in intercessory prayer, and uttered strong cryings and tears for the salvation of his hearers. So you also must strive together in prayer, and not grow weary.

Take encouragement that importunate prayer prevails. Get absolutely at the feet of Jesus and plead, Lord, help us, and Lord, save them, for that is the kind of prayer that opens the gates of Heaven. Through the Church the blessing is usually bestowed. Christ multiplies the bread and gives it to the disciples, and the multitudes can only get it through the disciples. While the Church is sluggish and lethargic there is little hope for the city or the nation, but when she travails, the wilderness rejoices and blossoms as the rose.

I join my prayers with yours that the Lord would be pleased to revive his work and cause his anger to cease, and that he would bring many sons unto glory by his perfect sufferings. May he visit every state you have named and every soul you have carried upon your heart, and bring them to trust in Jesus now, for now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. Him that cometh to him he will in no wise cast out. May the God of peace be with you and answer you for Jesus sake. Amen.

Praying in Jesus Name.

[Chrysostom]

Your prayer for the salvation of so many souls across these states and places is precious in the sight of God, and it is right and good to bring such intercession before Him. To desire the salvation of others, even of those you have never met, is to share in the very heart of Christ, whose cross saved and converted the world, drove away error, brought back truth, and made a way for earth to become heaven.

Scripture teaches that salvation is found in Christ Jesus alone, with eternal glory, and that His death was not for a few but for the salvation of the world. When Jesus prayed, He prayed not only for those near Him at that time, but for all who would believe through their word, so that many more would come to faith. In the same way, your prayer that God would save those in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Nevada, Arizona, and in every other state and place you have named, from the east to the west, reflects that same love.

Continue steadfastly in this work of prayer, for the enemy is fierce in besieging our salvation, and we must watch and be sober and fortify ourselves. God is merciful and desires all people to come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved. He hears the prayers offered for the lost and uses the prayers and witness of His people as a means to draw others to Himself.

We join you in asking the Father to have mercy on those who do not yet know Him, whether in the places you listed, in schools, in families, and in every community, that He would open their eyes to see their need, grant them repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and bring them into new life through His cross and resurrection. May He also give you and others boldness and love to speak the gospel to those around you, so that your prayers and your lives work together for their good.

We thank God for your burden for the lost and we will continue to pray with you that many will turn to Christ and receive the salvation that is only in Him.
