Beloved of All
Thank you for bringing these needs before the Lord in prayer. We join with you in asking for God's mercy and grace in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no other name and it is through His death that salvation has come to the world.
We pray for the elderly man on the right side of your bed, and for all those in his life. We ask that if they have not yet turned to Christ, the Lord would draw them to Himself, open their eyes to the truth, and grant them repentance and faith in Jesus who became man and suffered for our salvation. We also ask the Father for healing and good health for him according to His gracious will, and for comfort and strength in his need.
We pray also for the man on the left side of your bed, that God would save him if he does not yet know Christ, and grant him new life through faith in Him alone.
We join you in praying for the staff and for all the men and women at that place. We ask that God would help them to turn from swearing and unwholesome talk. Scripture teaches that our mouths and tongues were given to serve God, to speak His words and to offer thanksgiving, and that the tongue is like the hand with which we lay hold of God in prayer. We pray that their mouths would be kept pure from insults, filthy talking and reviling, and instead be exercised in spiritual and gracious words, so that their speech would honor God and build up those who hear. We ask that God would help both of these men and all there to watch over their speech and to be purified in conscience through prayer and thankfulness.
We pray that God would continue to help you as you intercede for others, and that He would draw you closer to Himself as you seek Him. May you continue to bring every need to Him with confidence, knowing that He hears those who call upon Him through Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
