We join you in lifting up this dear woman before the throne of grace and we are blessed by your heart for her salvation, for this is the greatest need any soul has and it reflects the heart of God Himself.

We are encouraged that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that anyone can be saved. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. Your coming in His name honors God and aligns with His will.

Scripture assures us of God's desire for her, For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:3-4. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9 and For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16. We also hold to the promise that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for Your mercy and Your great love for this woman. Lord, You know her heart and her need and where she stands with You. If she has not yet received Jesus as her Savior, we ask that You draw her by Your Holy Spirit, open her eyes to see her need for forgiveness, and reveal to her that Jesus died for her sins and rose again. Remove any blindness or hindrance and grant her repentance and faith to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. If she already belongs to You, we ask that You strengthen her faith, assure her of Your salvation, and draw her closer to walk faithfully with You. We ask that You place people in her life who will speak the gospel clearly to her and that You give us and others boldness to share Your truth in love. Work in her life according to Your perfect will and let Your name be glorified in her salvation. We thank You for hearing our prayer and we trust You to do what is best for her soul. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to intercede for her faithfully and to be ready to share the reason for the hope that is in you with gentleness and respect as God gives opportunity, trusting that He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to Him through Jesus.

Your prayer for this soul is itself a precious gift of God's grace, for it is God that writes intercession upon men's hearts. To care for another's salvation, to carry another before the throne, is to rise out of narrow anxiety for ourselves into that broader region of love where we are in communion and sympathy with Christ Himself, who ever lives to make intercession for transgressors.

Be encouraged that you have done well to bring her before the Lord in this way. Such prayers are often of unspeakable value to those for whom they are offered, and the Lord delights in importunity that will not let Him go but waits upon Him. Therefore continue to wait upon Him and to plead with Him in the name of Jesus.

And what is it that you ask for her, but the one thing needful. Salvation is all of Divine Grace from first to last and the channel of that grace is the Lord Jesus Christ who loved and lived and died and rose again for our salvation. There is but one Fountain filled with blood drawn from Immanuel's veins, and that fountain is open for her as much as for any sinner who has ever been washed therein. There is no other system or name under heaven by which we must be saved, for there is one way of salvation and that is by faith in Him who bore the sins of many upon the cross.

If she has not yet trusted Him, pray that she may see that Christ has finished the work, that what He meant to do on the cross He actually did, and that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. The weakest one who trusts Christ in the boat of salvation is as safe as the strongest, because Christ fails none who rest upon Him. Grace, how good, how cheap, how free, how easy to be found, is proclaimed to every guilty soul that will come to God by Him.

So give yourself to this holy office of intercession. Speak to her also as God gives you opportunity, not concealing the words of the Holy One, and speak to God for her with groanings which cannot be uttered when words fail. He who has taught you to pray, My heart's desire and prayer for them is that they may be saved, will surely hear the cry which He Himself has prompted.

May the Lord in His mercy reveal His Son to her, draw her by His Spirit to repentance and faith, and grant that she may know for herself that He loved her and gave Himself for her. And may He keep you steadfast in prayer until you see His hand made bare to save, for Christ's sake.

We join you in this prayer and we thank God for your love and concern for her soul. It is good and right to bring others before the throne of grace and to ask for their salvation, for there is no greater need than this.

Scripture teaches us what you have prayed, that salvation is found in Christ Jesus alone, with eternal glory, and that our Lord Jesus is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, because He ever lives to make intercession for them. He is not like the priests of old who died and could no longer help, but He lives forever and His power to save does not fail. When we pray for another, we are asking the one true High Priest who has all judgment and all mercy to show that mercy.

We also remember the word of the Lord, what will it profit a person if they gain the whole world and yet lose their own soul. This reminds us how precious one soul is in the sight of God and why we must continue to pray with urgency and hope.

So we pray with you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for Your mercy upon this dear one. If she does not yet know You, we ask that You draw her to Yourself, open her eyes to see her need for a Savior, grant her repentance and faith to trust in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Save her, Lord, and keep her, and bring her into the full joy of salvation that is in Christ. We ask this trusting in Your kindness and in the intercession of Your Son who lives forever. Amen.

We encourage you to keep praying for her and, as God gives opportunity, to share gently the good news of Jesus with her, and to live before her a life that shows the grace you have received.

It is a beautiful and loving thing to bring someone else before the Lord in prayer, and your intercession reflects the heart of God Himself. God is love, and when His love lives in us it moves us to care for others and to want them to know Him. That love was shown most clearly at the cross, where God gave His only Son to be the payment for our sins so that we could be forgiven and brought into fellowship with Him.

The name Jesus itself tells us what He came to do. In Hebrew it means the Lord is salvation, and the angel said He would be called this because He would save His people from their sins. Salvation is not found in any other way. Jesus said He is the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared, and it comes to us as a gift through His death and resurrection. He laid down His life for us, becoming the sacrifice that satisfies the justice of God, so that all who come to Him will in no wise be cast out.

You are joining in a work that Jesus Himself is doing. Scripture says He is able to save to the uttermost because He ever lives to make intercession for us at the right hand of God. He takes our guilt upon Himself and presents us as washed and cleansed. The Holy Spirit also helps us in our weakness when we do not know how to pray as we should, and makes intercession for us according to the will of God. When you pray for her, the Father who searches the heart hears both your prayer and the Spirit's prayer within you. It is God who works in the heart to create both the willingness and the ability to turn to Him.

Continue to pray and, as God gives opportunity, to share with her in love what Christ has done. The Bible urges us not to put off responding to God, for now is the accepted time and now is the day of salvation. Every person needs this gift of eternal life, and God so loved the world that He gave His Son so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us, and that same love is extended to her.

We join you in prayer for her. Father, we thank You for Your great love and for the price You paid to provide salvation through Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You and ask that if she has not yet received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, You would work in her heart by Your Spirit, open her eyes to Your love shown at the cross, and draw her to believe and receive the forgiveness and new life that is found in Him alone. Give her a clear understanding of the gospel and the faith to trust Him fully. In the name of Jesus, our salvation, we ask this. Amen.
