Your prayer has been heard and I am joining you in bringing this concern before the Lord.
I understand there is worry in your heart about this medical test and about immigration requirements, and it is natural to feel unsettled when so much feels out of your control. God sees that turmoil and He wants you to know His peace.
The Scriptures speak of two kinds of peace. First there is peace with God, which only comes through Jesus Christ. We were at war with God because of sin, but He made peace through the blood of His cross so that our sins can be forgiven and we can be reconciled to Him. When you put your trust in Jesus, that war is over. You are no longer running from God but belong to Him.
Then there is the peace of God, which guards the heart and mind. This is the perfect peace that the prophet describes for the one whose mind is stayed on the Lord because he trusts in Him. Jesus said, My peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The world cannot understand this peace, and it passes all human understanding, but it keeps our hearts steady even when the world around us is full of chaos and uncertainty.
That peace comes as you turn your mind toward Him and trust Him to take care of what concerns you. God has not forgotten you. His thoughts toward you are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. He invites you to call upon Him and pray to Him, and He promises to listen.
So I encourage you to fix your thoughts on the Lord today. Bring this need about the test and the immigration matter to Him honestly, and then rest in His care. His way is to lead us into peace, and the wisdom that comes from above is peaceable. When we sow peace by trusting Him and seeking Him, we reap the fruit of righteousness in our lives.
Let us pray together. Father, thank You for making peace with us through the sacrifice of Your Son. I lift up this dear one to You who is anxious about this medical need and about immigration questions. Please grant peace with You through faith in Jesus, and then fill the heart with Your perfect peace as trust is placed in You. Give wisdom, guidance, and provision for every practical step that needs to be taken, and help this heart to stay steadfast on You, knowing You will care for all things according to Your perfect will.
