Your burden for the salvation of others is good and pleasing to God, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. I join you in praying for those in ###, ###, ###, ###, and in every other state you mentioned and did not mention, that God would have mercy on those who are still outside of Christ and draw them to salvation that is in Christ Jesus alone, with eternal glory. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is by grace that we are saved through faith in Him.
I also join you in praying for those in need in each of these places. God knows the secrets of all hearts and sees every affliction and need, even when it is not spoken openly. He is able to help, to comfort, and to provide, and we can cast our hope upon Him and His power to fulfill what we ask for His glory.
For your own heart, where you ask God to remove certain images and memories so you will not remember them, I pray with you for renewal in the spirit of your mind. When the same soul that has grown old in sin is renewed, it becomes new while remaining itself, cleansed and changed by the grace of the Holy Spirit. As the psalm says to forget the old people and the old house, so we are called to forget the things of our former life and the idols and impurities that once held us, that the soul may recover its true beauty. God can cleanse the mind and take away the piercing thoughts that afflict it, and give you purity and peace.
May the Lord grant you godly sorrow where it is needed, which works repentance without regret, and may He fill you with His Spirit so that old deeds do not remain. Continue to bring these prayers before Him with confidence, trusting not in your own strength but in His grace, which is able to do far more than we ask. May He keep you steadfast and help you to live for His glory and for the salvation of many.
In Jesus Christ's name, amen.
