We lift up the people of Venezuela before the throne of grace, especially the children and infants who are most vulnerable in times of hardship. Father, we ask that You would draw near to them, providing for their physical needs, food, clean water, shelter, and healing where there is sickness. Lord, we pray for salvation for those who do not yet know You, that Your Spirit would move powerfully in their hearts, opening their eyes to the truth of the gospel. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). May Your love and mercy be poured out upon them in abundance.
We also pray for protection over the land, that You would guard Venezuela from natural disasters, violence, and any schemes of the enemy. "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him" (Nahum 1:7). We ask that You would bring peace and stability, not through the wisdom of man, but through Your divine intervention.
However, we must address the request concerning Nicolás Maduro and his wife with biblical clarity. Scripture teaches us to pray for all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and godly lives (1 Timothy 2:1-2), but it does not instruct us to pray for the avoidance of justice or accountability. The Lord is a God of justice, and those who oppress the innocent or misuse their power will one day answer to Him. "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1). We pray that if there is corruption or wrongdoing, the truth would be revealed, and justice would be served according to Your will. We also pray for repentance, for those in leadership to turn from wickedness and seek Your face.
Regarding the storms on I-95, we trust in Your sovereignty over all creation. "He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him" (Luke 8:25). We ask for safe travels for all who journey on that road, that You would calm the storms and protect lives.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You. We acknowledge that salvation is found in no one else, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We pray that the people of Venezuela would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, that they would be set free from sin and oppression, and that Your kingdom would come and Your will would be done in their nation as it is in heaven.
Lord, we ask for Your provision, protection, and revival in Venezuela. May Your church rise up with boldness to share the gospel, and may Your Spirit move in power to bring healing and restoration. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You hear the cries of Your people. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
