We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up the situation surrounding Nicolás Maduro and the nation of Venezuela. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and we pray that all who do not know Jesus as Lord and Savior would come to repentance and faith in Him.
We lift up Nicolás Maduro, his wife, and all those in their lives who may not yet know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and the reality of their need for a Savior. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and that they would turn to You in repentance and faith. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself, for no one can come to You unless the Father draws them (John 6:44). We pray for their salvation, that they would be born again and become new creations in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Regarding the legal cases and charges, we must approach this with wisdom and discernment. While we can pray for justice and mercy, we must also remember that God is sovereign over all earthly authorities (Romans 13:1). We pray that God’s will would be done in this situation, and that His purposes would be accomplished. We ask for wisdom for those in positions of authority, that they would act with integrity, justice, and righteousness (Proverbs 21:1). We also pray for the people of Venezuela, that they would be delivered from oppression and that God would bring healing and restoration to their land.
Father, we pray for the safe return of Nicolás Maduro and his wife to Venezuela, if it aligns with Your will. We ask that You would go before them and make their way straight (Proverbs 3:6). We pray for protection over their lives and for Your hand of favor to rest upon them. However, we also recognize that earthly rulers are accountable to You, and we trust in Your perfect justice and timing.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of corruption, injustice, or oppression that may be at work in this situation. We declare that Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). We pray for the people of Venezuela, that they would experience freedom, peace, and prosperity according to Your will. We ask that You would raise up godly leaders who would govern with wisdom, humility, and a heart for the people.
We also pray for the Church in Venezuela, that believers would stand firm in their faith and be a light in the darkness. Strengthen them, Lord, and empower them to share the gospel boldly, even in the face of persecution (Acts 4:29). May Your Word spread rapidly and be honored in Venezuela (2 Thessalonians 3:1).
Heavenly Father, we trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect plan. We ask that You would work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We pray for healing, restoration, and revival in Venezuela, and we ask that Your name would be glorified in all things. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
