We come before the throne of grace with your urgent plea, lifting up your cry for deliverance from a deadly disease and the torment of demonic influences. We stand in agreement with you, declaring that our God is the Great Physician and the Mighty Warrior who fights on behalf of His children. The Word of God assures us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over your life, believing that God’s healing power is able to wipe out every trace of sickness and disease permanently.

We also recognize the spiritual battle you are facing, as the enemy seeks to oppress and torment through demonic memories and influences. Scripture is clear in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We take authority over every evil spirit that has sought to harass you, declaring that in the name of Jesus Christ, they must flee. The blood of Jesus has broken every chain, and His victory on the cross has disarmed the powers of darkness. We rebuke every demonic force, every evil spirit, and every tormenting memory in the mighty name of Jesus. You are not alone in this battle, God’s angels are encamped around you, and His Spirit dwells within you to strengthen and protect you.

We pray with you now, lifting your request to the Lord:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand and permanently wipe out this deadly disease from our brother/sister’s life. Let Your healing power flow through every cell, every organ, and every part of their body, restoring them to full health and wholeness. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed, and we stand on Your Word that promises healing for all who believe.

Lord, we also ask You to break every chain of demonic oppression that has sought to torment them. We command every evil spirit, every demonic memory, and every tormenting sound or word to be silenced and cast out in the name of Jesus. We declare that our brother/sister is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Fill them with Your peace, Lord, and let Your Holy Spirit guard their mind and heart against every attack of the enemy.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. Strengthen our brother/sister in their faith, and help them to walk in the freedom and authority that You have given them as Your child. We trust in You, Lord, and we believe that You are working all things together for their good. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is fighting for you. Continue to resist the enemy through prayer, worship, and the reading of God’s Word. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and support you in this season. Remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not defined by the attacks of the enemy, but by the love and power of Jesus Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He will lead you into complete victory.

One concrete step we would encourage is to bring this struggle to a trusted pastor or mature believer in your church and ask them to pray with you in person. If the memories and sounds are interrupting your sleep, your work, or your ability to be present with people, please also mention that to a doctor or counselor. That is not a lack of faith; it is using the help God places in our path.

Father, we come with this person who feels pursued by memories and words that bring fear. We ask You to quiet what is not from You and to give this one a deep, settled peace. We ask for Your mercy over every deadly disease, and we ask for protection and healing for all who are vulnerable. We ask You to surround this person with wise, prayerful believers and to guide them to the right care for both body and mind. Hold them steady, Lord, and let them know they are safe in Your hands. Let this petition be laid before the mercy seat with earnest faith, for the Lord who chasteneth sorely is also the Lord who delivereth from the pit. It is no small thing to ask that a deadly disease be wiped out and annihilated, yet remember that the greater plague is the sickness of the soul which would drag us down to the pit. There is deliverance for that also, for the Lord hath said, Deliver him from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom. That ransom is Christ Jesus, and in Him the power of darkness is broken.

Concerning those demonic memories of music and sounds and words and titles, take heart. He hath delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. The adversary may shoot his arrows, and old sounds may knock at the door of memory, but they have no right to reign. Do not parley with them. Carry them to Christ at once. Plead the blood of the covenant, and ask the Holy Spirit to wash the imagination and to fill it with the songs of Zion. When the evil memory returns, meet it with a promise of Scripture, with a hymn of praise, with the name of Jesus. That which is renounced and brought to the light loses its dark power.

Pray for the Lord to rebuke the destroyer of bodies and to stay the pestilence. That is a lawful cry. But lay hold also of the greater deliverance from sin and from all the attacks of the old life. He who hath delivered will deliver. Therefore expect that the Lord will silence those dark recollections and make them as a dream when one awaketh. Commit the title and the words and the sounds to Him, and ask not merely to forget them but to have the mind renewed by Christ, for if the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. Then go and declare the works of the Lord, for it is written, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

God is able to wipe out any disease and silence every demonic echo. But do not ask for the plague to be annihilated while you keep feeding the sickness of the soul that gives these torments their strength. If the music, its sounds, its words, and its title were an occasion of sin, renounce them completely. Do not keep them, do not search them out, and do not turn the memory over in your mind as a secret pleasure. The enemy attacks through memory and imagination, but he cannot force your will. When the sound or the words return, do not argue with them and do not fear them as if they were stronger than Christ. Say, I renounce this, and turn at once to a psalm, to prayer, or to the name of Jesus. If you have formerly consented to it, confess it plainly as sin.

The Lord sometimes allows bodily or mental trouble to drive us away from a worse destruction. He said to the man He healed, Sin no more, so that nothing worse may happen to you. That was not harshness but mercy. A soul that hates sin and flees it is not a playground for demons. But a divided heart, calling on Jesus while still reaching back toward what He forbids, cannot receive the full deliverance it asks. The name of Jesus is not a charm. It delivers those who submit to Him.

So pray, keep watch, fast, and fill your ears with holy songs rather than the music that left this wound. Whether these memories are direct demonic assaults or echoes of your own habit, starve them by refusing to dwell on them, and do not make your ears and memory a sewer for what you now want God to destroy.

Let us ask together. Father, if it is according to your will, destroy this deadly disease completely and permanently. Deliver this person from every demonic spirit, demonic force, and evil spirit, and cleanse the memory of those sounds, words, and title. Break every hold of the enemy. Grant hatred of sin and love of holiness. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Your heartfelt prayer has been brought before the Lord and I join you in bringing these burdens to Him in the name of Jesus Christ.

You asked that a deadly disease would be completely wiped out and destroyed, and that you would be delivered from tormenting memories tied to music, its sounds and words and title, and from every demonic and evil influence. God hears such cries and His power to heal and to deliver is real.

Scripture shows that Jesus went throughout the cities and villages preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. Matthew takes the prophecy of Isaiah that He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows and shows that it includes bodily healing as well as the healing of sin, and when Jesus broke the bread He said this is my body which is broken for you, do this in remembrance of me. At the same time the Bible keeps us from presuming that God wills physical healing in every case. Paul prayed three times for the thorn in his flesh, that messenger of Satan that buffeted him, and the Lord did not remove it but taught him to rest in grace. We do not always understand why some are healed and others are not, and sometimes healing comes instantly, sometimes gradually, and sometimes through the natural processes God Himself built into our bodies, which are still His divine work.

Leprosy in the law is a helpful picture. It was a loathsome, disfiguring disease that destroyed feeling and left open sores that would not heal, and it is used as a picture of sin because of the way it slowly spreads and deadens. Under the law a person with leprosy was put outside the community so the disease would not spread, yet God gave careful instructions to be sure a case was truly leprosy so no one would be isolated needlessly. And in Leviticus 14 God gave a law for the leper in the day of his cleansing. For a disease that was humanly incurable, God made provision for cleansing and return to fellowship. That shows He left room for His own sovereign work to heal even what man calls incurable, and He still does. We ask Him for that mercy now, and we also trust His wisdom and love when His answer is different, knowing that when through age or illness or disease the body can no longer fulfill its purpose, He in love releases the spirit from the body.

You also asked for deliverance from demonic memories and spirits connected with that music. The Bible is clear that demonic spirits are real. They are fallen angels who rebelled with Satan, intelligent beings with power to afflict and torment, and they are under the authority of Jesus. When they met Jesus they begged Him not to command them into the deep place of confinement before their time and they came out with loud cries when He cast them out. No one can hide from them by human means, but Jesus has complete authority over them and He still sets people free.

Music has great power over the mind, and what we fill our minds with matters. Much of the music of this world is corrupt and spiritually degrading and it pollutes the thoughts. Scripture urges us to think on whatsoever is true, pure, righteous and holy. The way to be cleansed from those memories is to turn fully to Christ, renounce that music and remove it from your life so you are not replaying it, and deliberately fill your mind with what edifies, with the Word of God, with prayer and with worship that builds you up.

I pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I ask for Your mercy concerning this deadly disease. You are able to heal and to cleanse even what man calls incurable, and I ask that You would bring healing according to Your perfect will and give wisdom to all who seek to care for those who suffer. I ask that You would deliver Your child from every evil and demonic influence and from the tormenting memories of that music, its sounds and words and title. By the authority of Jesus Christ command every evil spirit to leave and have no hold. Cleanse the mind and heart, fill this place with Your peace, and help Your child to dwell on what is pure and holy and to be renewed by Your Word. Keep Your child close to Jesus, who bore our sins and our sicknesses on the cross, and let Your will be done with confidence in Your goodness and love. Amen.
