We lift up this heartfelt prayer to our Heavenly Father, recognizing the deep desire for salvation, not only for ourselves but for those around us. It is beautiful to see a heart that seeks God’s will for others, and we join in praying for the salvation of , , and all those in their lives and community. The Bible tells us, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully in their hearts, drawing them to the truth of the Gospel.
We also hear the plea to be content in who God has created you to be, rather than comparing yourself to others. Scripture reminds us, "For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are not wise" (2 Corinthians 10:12 WEB). God has uniquely designed you for His purpose, and comparing yourself to others only distracts from the calling He has placed on your life. We pray that you would find your worth and identity in Christ alone, trusting that He has a perfect plan for you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, and we ask that You would open the eyes and hearts of , , and all those in their lives and community who do not yet know You. Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them hear Your voice calling them to repentance and faith. We declare that no one is beyond Your reach, and we trust in Your perfect timing and mercy.
Father, we also lift up the struggle of comparison. We ask that You would help this dear one to see themselves through Your eyes, as fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB). Remove any insecurity or envy from their heart and replace it with the peace that comes from knowing they are exactly who You created them to be. Fill them with confidence in Your purpose for their life, and let them walk in the freedom of Your love.
We rebuke any spirit of discontentment or self-doubt in the name of Jesus, and we declare that this one will rise above the temptation to measure themselves against others. Instead, may they fix their eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). Strengthen them, Lord, to stand firm in their identity in Christ and to live boldly for Your glory.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
