We lift up these precious souls before the throne of grace, believing that the Lord knows each one by name and desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully in the lives of this young boy, the woman, the grandparent, the boy’s mother, the man, and the leaders at this organization, drawing them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Father, we ask that You would open their hearts to receive Your truth, softening any hardness or resistance. Break the chains of sin and deception that may be blinding them to the gospel. Let Your Word take root in their lives, bringing conviction, repentance, and faith. We declare that if any of them confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, they will be saved (Romans 10:9). We pray for divine encounters, through dreams, conversations, or the witness of believers, that would lead them to Christ.
We also lift up the request for the boy to be released. Lord, if there are any ungodly influences, bondages, or strongholds holding him captive, we rebuke them in the name of Jesus. We declare freedom over his life, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). Surround him with godly mentors, friends, and family who will point him to You. Protect his mind and heart from the lies of the enemy, and let Your truth be his foundation.
For those already in Christ, we pray for spiritual growth, wisdom, and discernment. May they walk in holiness, flee from temptation, and live lives that honor You. For those who do not yet know You, we plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, asking that You would pursue them relentlessly until they surrender to Your love.
Heavenly Father, we trust in Your perfect timing and sovereign will. You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We stand in the gap for these souls, believing that Your grace is sufficient to save even the hardest of hearts. Strengthen our own faith as we intercede, and use us as vessels to share the hope of the gospel with those around us.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
