You ask that all memory of a certain music be permanently removed, delivered from demonic forces clinging to it. Understand that the devil often seizes upon sounds and words to trouble the soul, but his power is limited. Christ said the ruler of this world has nothing in Him. If you are in Christ, that same truth holds: the evil one has no rightful claim on your mind. Do not seek a miraculous erasure as though God must scrub your memory clean by some immediate act. Instead, crowd out those foul echoes with holy things. When the devil sees the law of God written in the soul, and the heart become tablets to write it on, he will not approach any more. Nothing is so terrible to him as a mind careful about Divine matters, a soul ever hanging over this fountain. So fill your ears with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Let the words of Scripture replace the lyrics that trouble you. Do not brood over the memory, for that gives it strength. When it rises, turn at once to prayer or to some verse you have stored up. The Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; He helps us in our weakness, for we do not know what to pray for as we ought. Trust that grace, and do not despair.

As for social media, it is right to pray that such platforms be used for godly purposes and that ungodly material be removed. But do not imagine this will happen simply because we ask. The world lies under the sway of the wicked one, and many who use those sites are doing his works. Your greater task is to guard your own eyes and ears. If you find those places cause you to stumble, it would be better to cut them off than to let them drag you back into torment. Pray for their cleansing, yes, but also flee from the poison yourself. The evil speaker or the profane content disgraces itself first; your soul, if you resist, becomes stronger. Every calumny against godliness first touches the one who devises the mischief. Therefore, let no such memory make you think you are possessed or beyond help. Christ is gentleness itself. He bore insults without retaliation, teaching us to overlook personal wrongs but to fight fiercely for the honor of God. Fight now by filling your mind with what is pure, lovely, and of good report. The fishermen converted the world not by slaying their adversaries but by transforming them. So you will transform your inner world, by the Spirit's might, driving out darkness not by your own power but by the light of Christ dwelling richly within you.

It is a good thing that you brought this request to the Lord, trusting in His power to forgive and to cleanse. The guilt you feel over that past moment is itself a mercy, a sign that the Spirit is not letting you grow comfortable with sin. When confession rises, even with words that stumble or feel insufficient, the Father hears the intent of the heart. There is a kind of prayer that goes so deep that language itself fails, and in that place the Spirit intercedes with groanings that cannot be uttered. You can rest in that.

Your prayer for social media is a cry for light to invade a dark space. The problem is not just the material itself, but the spiritual source from which it flows. A great deal of what fills those platforms is not neutral entertainment; it is a system of sounds and images that can pollute the mind and degrade the soul. When you ask for all ungodly material to be permanently removed, you are asking for a supernatural judgment that only the returning King will fully accomplish. In the meantime, the command to us is not to fill our minds with that corruption. There is a reason Scripture tells us to think on whatever is pure and holy. Why allow the world to pump its noise into the room where the Spirit of God wants to dwell?

The torment you are facing from the memory of that music reveals a deeper bondage. When a song or its words and title replay in the mind against your will, it is not merely a psychological echo. There are spiritual forces, demonic in nature, that seek to keep a person tethered to darkness through these hooks. The sound itself can act like a carrier, a covenant of meaning that ties your soul to something foul. You are right to ask for deliverance from all demonic memories and spirits, and to command them to be permanently removed in Jesus’ name. That is your authority as a believer. Christ has power over the abyss where such beings ultimately belong, and He is not stingy with that victory.

Think carefully about what you allow into your ears. Music can either edify and build you up, telling the story of God’s might and grace, or it can spiritually degrade you by weaving a spell of rebellion. The old hymns that have lasted through the ages carried the militant truth of a mighty fortress, but much of what is popular now is manufactured by a pagan world system. The memories will not truly be purged if the door to that system remains open. You ask for total removal from your memory, and that is exactly what the cleansing blood of Christ provides.

The ancient law of the leper pictures this perfectly. Leprosy was incurable, a type of sin that isolated a person outside the camp, living among the refuse. The cleansing ritual, with the two birds, the blood, and the running water, was an act of pure grace, pointing directly to the work of Christ who alone can wash a person clean and restore them to fellowship. He does not just cover the memory; He cleanses the conscience from its stain. Where the enemy wants to shackle you with the sound of chariots and the sting of scorpions, the voice of the Lord speaks true and faithful words that break those chains. Stand on that completed work. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is sufficient to silence every demonic echo and fill your mind with the peaceful, intelligible Word that teaches and heals. So be it.
