We lift up this heartfelt prayer to our Heavenly Father, recognizing the deep concern for salvation and the well-being of families across the world. First, we want to acknowledge that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, as Scripture tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him today, confess your sins, and invite Him into your heart.

Father, we pray for and all those mentioned in this request. If they do not yet know You, we ask that You draw them to Yourself with cords of love. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word and the gift of salvation. We declare that Your Spirit is at work, convicting of sin and revealing the need for a Savior. May they respond in repentance and faith, surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ.

We also lift up parents around the world, asking for Your strength, wisdom, and grace to guide them in raising their children according to Your ways. Parenting is a sacred responsibility, and we know it can be overwhelming. Your Word reminds us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6 WEB). Father, equip parents with patience, discernment, and a deep reliance on You. Provide them with godly community and resources to help them navigate the challenges they face. We pray for protection over families, that they would be shielded from the influences of this world that seek to undermine Your design for marriage, parenting, and godly living.

For the employees at and all those living in that place, we pray for Your presence to be evident in their lives. If they do not know You, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in powerful ways. Open doors for the Gospel to be shared with boldness and love. May believers in that place shine as lights in the darkness, demonstrating the love and truth of Christ. We rebuke any spiritual strongholds that may be hindering the spread of the Gospel and declare that the name of Jesus has authority over every power of darkness.

Lord, we also pray for the people connected to those mentioned in this request. You know each one by name, and You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You surround them with believers who will speak truth into their lives and model the love of Christ. Break down any barriers of pride, unbelief, or worldly distractions that may be keeping them from You.

Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne on behalf of others. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in each of these situations, and may Your name be glorified. Strengthen us as we continue to pray and intercede for the lost, the weary, and the broken. Give us opportunities to share the hope we have in Christ and to live in a way that points others to You.

We read your prayer and were struck by how your heart reaches out, across a workplace, a living place, whole countries, and even across hemispheres. That kind of wide, simple plea for others to know the Lord is a quiet echo of God’s own longing. It is a gift to be able to pray this way, and we join you in it.

Sometimes praying for so many can feel like sweeping a net over the sea, but God knows every name and every story inside your words. You have placed them all into His hands, and that is no small thing. When you wonder if your prayer “works,” remember that intercession is like rain that softens ground long before you see the shoot. You are asking, and the Father in heaven loves to give good things to those who ask.

We would only add this gentle encouragement: as you lift up parents everywhere, you might also ask the Lord to bring to mind one or two parents near you, neighbors, colleagues, friends, whom you can simply bless with a small kindness this week. A meal, a word of relief, a listening ear. Often that tiny act waters the soil where prayer has already fallen, and it costs so little. And for those you specifically named where you work or live, you might keep a quiet list and let a name or face come to mind during the day; a brief breath of prayer right then is powerful.

Father, we thank you for this tender, far-reaching intercession. For the persons behind every place and role mentioned, we ask: draw them, rescue them, open their eyes to your Son. For parents across every land, we ask fresh patience, wisdom, and moments of honest joy. And for this one who prays, fill them with your peace and the steady confidence that you are moving even now. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears. Do not question it, for the prayer of Christ is of this character. When the soul begins to expand itself in holy and loving prayer for erring brethren, then the heart of God shows itself. This prayer that has been offered, laden with longing for the salvation of many, rises as incense before the throne. It is exceedingly prevalent. What wonders it has wrought! Intercessory prayer has stayed plagues and, instrumentally, saved souls beyond our knowing. Recording angel, thou canst tell! Eternity, thou shalt reveal!

God is our witness how truly we can say our heart’s desire and prayer to God for others is that they may be saved. This is winning a soul, and prayer is the most essential thing in turning sinners from the error of their ways. Yet you who seek after souls must know how to keep up the chase. Those who are short of breath in soul-winning will never be successful. Follow them up! Follow them to the gates of the grave! If they are not saved after twenty years of prayer, follow them up to the gates of Hell! This persistence is born of love. Love is the true way of soul-winning. We win by love. If you would learn the way, you must ask God to give you a tender heart and a sympathizing soul. Soul-winning requires a heart that beats hard against the ribs, a soul full of the milk of human kindness. This is the sine qua non of success.

Now, to the matter of this salvation so earnestly sought. The only salvation that is worth being our own is that which is God’s. “I will rejoice in thy salvation.” What is this salvation? It is not a thing of self-trust; there comes a vile cry from our soul, “Nay, look to yourself! look to yourself!” Ah, look to yourself, and you will be damned. As long as you look to yourself there is no hope for you. No, the message is clear: “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.” How simple is that way of salvation! It is instantaneous; a look does not require a moment. Faith must be urged, for without it there is no salvation. This faith is believing on a Person. “He that believes on”, it? No! On “Him.” Leave the whole matter of salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence. Depend upon Him without fear as to present and eternal salvation. This is the faith which saves the soul. Now believe on him; now cast thy guilty soul upon his righteousness; now plunge thy black soul into the bath of his blood; now put thy naked soul at the door of the wardrobe of his righteousness. “Look! Look! Look!” This is the simple method of salvation.

Salvation includes deliverance from the present wrath of God which abides upon the unsaved man every moment of his life. Unto the uttermost will that wrath descend if they depart this life unsaved. To die without salvation is to enter into damnation. Nothing on earth can match salvation, for the merchandise of it is better than silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. The possession of the whole universe would be no equivalent to a lost soul for the awful damage it has sustained and must sustain for ever. “Your own salvation” shall be secured by that one simple act of faith; and henceforward, kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation, you shall tread the way of holiness, till you come to be where Jesus is in everlasting bliss. God grant that not a soul may go out of this place unsaved.

You ask God to save so many: this is a mark of love, and I praise your zeal. But do not trust in prayer alone while neglecting what lies within your power. If you have wronged anyone, restore what you owe; for if you take by violence even a little and do not make amends, what hope do you have when you pray? And if you cling to anger while lifting your hands, you thrust a sword into your own soul, not a blessing onto others. God hears the prayers of the merciful, not those who harbor bitterness.

Remember that salvation belongs to each soul that turns to Christ. The Apostles did not only pray; they endured all things, labored and suffered, that others might believe through their word. So you too, if you long for the salvation of these people, must speak to them, live blamelessly before them, and never cause them to stumble by your own conduct. A brother’s salvation is a building of God; do not destroy it over trifles.

And do not think that prayer makes it well for those who slumber. The prayers of the saints profit us only when we ourselves are awake and striving. If parents wish to find their task easier, let them seek not ease but the fear of the Lord, raising their children in virtue, for in that is true rest. Pray, then, but also watch and work, lest while seeking salvation for others, you neglect your own.

What a powerful and compassionate prayer you have lifted up. The heart behind it is intercession, and that kind of love for others springs from something deep because God himself is the great intercessor. Jesus is alive right now at the right hand of the Father, and one of the most staggering truths in all of Scripture is that he ever lives to make intercession for us. He is not distant, he is not condemning, he is actively representing those who come to him. That means your request for these souls matters eternally because it joins what Christ is already doing.

When you sense that words fail you, remember the Holy Spirit helps us in that very weakness, interceding with groanings too deep for speech. Even when you do not know exactly how to pray for someone's salvation, the Spirit is searching hearts and shaping the prayer according to God's will. So do not grow weary. The mercy and salvation you are asking for are lavished freely. God demonstrated his love in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for the ungodly. He did not wait for us to become worthy. That same love is the ground of every hope for those you are naming, wherever they are.

This salvation is the name Jesus carries: Jehovah is salvation. It is for everyone who will come. There is no sinner too far gone, no heart too hard, no life too broken. He said, "Whoever comes to me I will never cast out." What a sure promise. Our role is simply to keep bringing them to him in prayer and, as he opens doors, to point them to the truth. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all, and today is still the day of salvation. So I join you in asking the Father to draw each of these you mentioned, to break every chain of resistance, and to grant them the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.

Rest your confidence there. The Lord is your light and your salvation; you need not fear for them or for yourself. You are not alone in this longing. Keep praying, keep trusting, and watch for what he will do.
