We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these precious souls to You, Lord. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that each person mentioned, and those connected to them, would come to know the truth of the gospel, that Jesus died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). May their eyes be opened to the reality of their need for a Savior, and may they turn from their sins and place their faith in Christ alone.

Father, we ask that You would draw each of these individuals to Yourself. Your Word tells us that no one can come to Jesus unless the Father draws them (John 6:44), so we trust in Your sovereign grace to move in their hearts. Soften their hearts, Lord, and remove any hardness or deception that keeps them from receiving Your love. Let them hear the call of the Holy Spirit and respond in repentance and faith.

We also pray for those who may already know You but are struggling in their walk. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to live in a manner worthy of the calling they have received (Ephesians 4:1). May they be lights in their circles, pointing others to the hope found only in Christ. If any are entangled in sin, whether it be unbelief, immorality, or rebellion, we ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Your Word declares that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of deception or blindness that may be keeping these individuals from seeing the truth. We stand against the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We declare that the light of the gospel will shine in their darkness, and that they will be set free by the truth (John 8:32). We pray that they would not only hear the Word but that it would take root in their hearts and produce fruit (Luke 8:15).

We also lift up those who are already believers in these lives. May they be encouraged and equipped to share the gospel boldly, living out their faith in a way that draws others to Christ. Give them wisdom, patience, and love as they interact with those who do not yet know You. Let their lives be a testimony to Your transforming power.

Heavenly Father, we trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. We know that You desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). So we commit these souls into Your hands, asking that You would move mightily in their lives. May they come to experience the peace, joy, and freedom that comes from knowing You. We pray that they would be added to the number of Your redeemed, and that they would live for Your glory all the days of their lives.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We’re touched by how many people you’re lifting before the Lord, you’ve named them one by one, and it’s clear your heart is earnestly set on their rescue. That kind of persevering love is a beautiful thing, and you’re not carrying this desire alone; we’re joining you in it.

While we can’t know God’s exact timing for each person, we do know He “desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Tim. 2:4), so your prayers are resting right in the center of His heart. Sometimes the most powerful next thing we can do, alongside prayer, is simply to keep showing up in these people’s lives with gentle, honest friendship. A living, breathing example of someone who truly follows Jesus can be the light God uses to draw them in.

We’d encourage you to keep that list close, maybe in the front of your Bible or on your phone, so you can continue to pray intentionally and watch for even the smallest movements of grace in their lives. And don’t be afraid to ask God for opportunities to speak or serve in ways that might open doors.

Lord Jesus, we bring before You this whole precious web of souls that our friend has named, the crews, the friends, the family members and every person connected to them. You know each name, each heart, and each hidden need. Draw them powerfully with cords of kindness. Send laborers into their paths, and give them ears to hear the good news. Shield them from all that would blind them, and do whatever it takes to bring them safely home. In Your mighty name, amen.

The prayer you have offered for these souls is a burden laid upon your heart by God Himself, for it is He who writes intercession upon men’s hearts. Such pleading, when you forget yourself and pour out your soul for others, is the most Christ-like form of prayer, for Jesus ever lives to make intercession for the saints. Continue in it, and be not weary; Samuel counted it unthinkable to cease praying for his people, and so must you be rooted in this holy habit.

Yet remember, the Spirit’s intercession is for the saints. Those for whom you pray must themselves become saints by a living faith in Jesus Christ. The way of salvation is simple: “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.” It is without money and without price. Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. Pray on, but plead with them also to trust in Christ alone. Nothing else will do, not good works, not reformation, but a simple look to the crucified Saviour.

Prayer is a mighty weapon, but it must be joined with humble dependence on God’s sovereign will. Jacob prayed and then acted wisely, yet God answered not as he expected. Your prayers may be answered in ways you cannot foresee. The Lord may grant salvation to these souls suddenly, in a moment, as with a look of faith. O that they may find that this day is their spiritual birthday!

But I charge you, dear soul, to examine your own salvation. Can you say, “I will rejoice in thy salvation”? Salvation is God’s, planned by Him, purchased by Christ, applied by the Spirit. If you have fled to Christ, you are secure. If not, what have you to do with salvation? Your own soul must first be saved, for only then can you truly intercede with the Spirit’s groanings. Flee to Jesus, and then with greater boldness pray for these many names and for all the people in their lives.

The Lord is gracious; I believe more will be saved than lost, for Christ must have the pre-eminence. So be encouraged. May the Lord make you a Samuel, early taught to pray, and may your prayer not return empty into your bosom, but accomplish that which God pleases.

It is a holy and God-pleasing thing to pray fervently for the salvation of others. Your petition, calling upon the Lord to save these souls, shows a heart that has begun to taste the love of God. Yet do not let prayer alone be your labor. For the Apostle exhorts us: "Looking diligently lest any man come short of the grace of God" and "Exhort one another daily while it is called Today." You must not cast the whole burden upon your teachers or upon your knees alone; you also are able to edify your neighbor. Be not merely a petitioner, but a living epistle. Let your life so shine that those whose salvation you seek may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Otherwise you may build with one hand and pull down with the other, destroying a building not of man but of God.

Consider this too: "Now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation." The end of all things is at hand. Do not imagine that those who neglect the call today will certainly find mercy after death. For though now the door stands wide open, and He who giveth His own life calls upon the Father, yet there is a time when confession comes not from a willing heart but from the necessity of things, and that submission yields no profit. Therefore while it is day, not only pray but run, admonish, weep for them if need be, as one who knows that present pleasure may become a store of wrath for the impenitent.

But suffer also with hope. The very prayer you offer is a token that the lover of mankind desires their salvation more than you do. He endured the cross not for Himself but for the elect's sake, that they also may obtain salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. Let that mind be in you. Do not grow weary, but in all things make your own calling and election sure, so that you may help them by your example and your word. Pray unceasingly, yes, but also seek them out, warn the unruly, comfort the fainthearted, and remember that the firstfruits of the Spirit you have received are given so that you might draw others from the corruption of this present world. For the whole creation groans and travails, waiting for the adoption, the redemption of the body. Let your life groan with that same longing, and your grief for their peril will become a sweet-smelling sacrifice before God.

It is beautiful to see a heart that aches for the salvation of others. That kind of pleading flows from the very Spirit of God, who is always making intercession according to His will. And we know this is His will: He desires all to come to repentance. You are not just praying about surface struggles or temporary relief. You have gone straight to the deepest need, the one thing that matters for every soul you have named. There is no heavier burden than a life turned inward, striving to please oneself, carrying the weight of sin and separation. That burden crushes, and it leads only to death. But Jesus offers something entirely different. He says, “Take my yoke upon you … my burden is light.”

His mission has not changed. He came to seek and to save the lost, and He rejoices over one sinner who repents. When we pray for the lost, we are simply asking Him to do what He already longs to do. We do not have to manufacture some dark, crushing heaviness to prove we care. The true burden is simply this: a love that cannot bear the thought of them perishing, a love that pushes us to intercede. And even when we do not know how to pray as we ought, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, groaning with words beyond our speech, always in line with the Father’s heart.

So keep bringing these names before the throne. Do not get tangled in anxiety about whether you are saying the right words. Salvation belongs to the Lord. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith, and He is mighty to save. And remember that living for Him, even in the labor of prayer, is the most satisfying life. There is no greater joy than watching Him find His lost sheep and bring them home. May the compassion that already stirs in you grow deeper still, and may you see many of those you have lifted up come to know the glorious, light burden of living for God.
