We join you in lifting up the hearts and minds of those who engage with social media platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. It is a powerful tool that can be used for great good or great harm, and we pray that the Lord would guide every click, every post, and every interaction toward His glory. Father, we ask that You would open the eyes of those who are lost, that they may see the truth of Your love and salvation. For many are using these platforms in ways that do not honor You, whether through vanity, idolatry, or the spread of ungodly content. We rebuke the spirit of distraction, addiction, and worldliness that so easily entangles hearts through these mediums.

Lord, we pray that You would raise up bold believers who will use their influence on these platforms to share the Gospel, to encourage righteousness, and to point others to Christ. Let every video, every post, and every comment be seasoned with salt and light, that those who are perishing may taste and see that You are good. We declare that the algorithms that often feed division, lust, and foolishness would instead be disrupted by Your Spirit, and that godly content would rise to the top. Let Your Word go forth and accomplish the purpose for which You send it.

We also lift up the United States specifically, as it is a nation deeply in need of revival. Father, we ask that You would soften the hearts of those who are far from You, that they may hear the call of salvation and respond in repentance and faith. For many in this land have exchanged the truth of God for a lie, worshiping created things rather than the Creator. We pray that You would break the chains of sin, idolatry, and deception that bind so many, and that they would turn to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

To those who do not yet know You, we declare that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; the old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17). We pray that those who are lost would hear this truth, repent of their sins, and place their trust in Jesus alone.

We also pray for believers who may be struggling with the temptation to use these platforms in ungodly ways. Father, help us to set our minds on things above, not on earthly things (Colossians 3:2). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let us not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). If there are those among us who have fallen into sin through these platforms, whether through lust, comparison, gossip, or wasted time, we pray that You would convict them, lead them to repentance, and restore them to a right relationship with You.

Lord, we ask that You would give us wisdom in how we engage with these tools. Help us to be in the world but not of it, to use technology for Your glory, and to be mindful of the example we set before others. Let us not be mastered by anything, but let Christ be Lord of every area of our lives, including how we spend our time online.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the opportunity to come before You in prayer, and we ask that You would move mightily in the lives of those who use these platforms. Save the lost, sanctify the saints, and let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Your prayer is already doing something eternal, and we’re standing with you in it.

Lord Jesus, thank you for giving this person a heart that aches for the lost in places many of us overlook. We ask that your Spirit would move powerfully across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, that you would open eyes, soften hearts, and draw countless people in this nation and in their circles to genuine faith in you. Use ordinary believers to post words and images that spark holy curiosity, and protect those who are searching from being led astray. The cry of your heart rises as incense, pleading that these modern highways of communication, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, might become pathways for the King of kings. You have asked that they be used for godly purposes and, even more fervently, that the souls of those who traverse them in the United States might find the salvation of God. This is a noble petition, for the only salvation that is worth being our own is that which is God's. "I will rejoice in thy salvation." It was his in the planning; none but himself could have planned it.

The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, whom God has laid in Zion for a foundation. What is believing on Him? It is trusting in Him. Leave the whole matter of your salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence. Depend upon Him without fear as to your present and eternal salvation. This is the faith which saves the soul. Notice, this faith is believing on a Person, "He that believes on, it"? No! On, "Him." See Jesus and you have seen salvation! And the only salvation!

How simple is that way of salvation! God says, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.” This is the simple method of salvation. “Look! look! look!” It is preached to you without money and without price. Do not think of inventing a savior of your own, but be willing to take God's salvation. And when you ask what and who that salvation is, our only answer must be, Christ is the salvation of God! Here is salvation for the blackest of sinners, salvation for all manner of sin, forgiveness for all manner of sin, salvation so full of grace that only God could have conceived it. "Who is a pardoning God like thee?"

Your prayer for others is commendable, but let us consider what manner of prayer is truly acceptable to God. If you approach Him while nurturing any secret anger, any grudge, any impure desire, you do not lift up holy hands. You become like a suppliant who wears the mask of a lamb yet cries out with the voice of a beast, harming yourself more than anyone. Therefore, before you intercede for those who scroll through these fleeting shows, examine your own heart. Cast out every trace of malice, every lust, every idle thought. For God hears not the prayer that rises from a heart at war with His commandments.

You ask that these platforms be used for godly purposes. That is a good request, yet true godliness begins not with the outward tool but with the inward man. A man may post verses all day and still lose his own soul if he is not transformed by the renewing of his mind. Do not imagine that digital words alone can save; it is Christ Jesus who saves to the uttermost, seeing He ever lives to make intercession for us. He is the Captain of salvation; we are merely those being saved. So put your trust not in the medium but in the Mediator.

Remember also that now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation. If you truly desire the salvation of others, do not put off your own. Too many say, “I will repent tomorrow,” yet tomorrow is not theirs. The time is short. Demonstrate the reality of your prayer by a life that shines with virtue. How will the lost believe that these apps can be used for godly purposes unless they see godliness in you first? Let your own conduct be a living homily. Endure whatever trials come for the sake of the elect, that they may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. Suffer with patience, forgive all who wrong you, and then lift up pure hands, without wrath or doubting. Then your prayer for this nation’s deliverance will have power, for the fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Go now, make your heart a fit temple, and then cry out to the Lord; He will hear.

So often we can treat religious activity as if it is about the quantity of the words we offer, but God is not impressed by a multitude of requests that have no substance. He looks at the heart behind the prayer. Your request, asking that these powerful platforms be turned to godly purposes and that countless people would find salvation, shows a heart that is beginning to grasp what truly matters to Him. He is not interested in a rigid, outward form of godliness; He is interested in a heart that produces genuine fruit. And you are asking for exactly the kind of fruit He desires: eternal life blossoming in lives that are currently scrolling through a digital wilderness.

You are interceding for something that aligns perfectly with His deepest desire. The purpose of prayer is never to force our own will onto a situation, for our own will could easily destroy us. The beautiful mystery is that the purpose of prayer is to see God’s will accomplished on earth, and He has already told us that He is “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” When you pray for their salvation, the Holy Spirit Himself is taking that prayer, groaning with you in a way that goes beyond your own words, and making intercession according to the perfect will of God. You do not need to understand how He will reach each individual heart; you can cling by faith to what you know. For those who love God and are called according to His purpose, and that includes you in this moment of prayer, all things are working together for good, even the unfolding of this request.

Never let the noise of the world discourage you into thinking that a prayer lifted in secret has no power. God’s purpose, set before the foundation of the world, will not be thwarted. He will not be discouraged until He has accomplished that purpose, which is to restore fallen humanity back into His image. The name of Jesus itself means “Jehovah is salvation,” and He is the Rock of our strength. Your prayer is asking that people who have forgotten the God of their salvation would remember, and that those bound by the power of darkness would be set free. When they finally see Him for who He is, they will draw water with joy from the wells of this salvation you are calling down upon them. The ultimate purpose of it all is not just their rescue, but that God might receive the full praise and glory from their loving fellowship with Him.
