We join you in lifting up the brothers and all those in their lives who may not yet know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift from God, not something we can earn by our own works, so that no one may boast. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved, as it is written:
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB)
We pray that the eyes of their hearts may be enlightened, that they may know the hope of God’s calling and the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints. May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. We ask that their hearts may be open to receive the truth of the Gospel and that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. We ask that You draw the brothers and all those in their lives to Yourself. Soften their hearts to receive Your Word and convict them of their need for a Savior. We pray that they would repent of their sins and turn to You, confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and believing in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. May they be born again by the power of Your Holy Spirit and experience the new life that only You can give.
Lord, we also pray for the brothers themselves, that if they have not yet fully surrendered their lives to You, they would do so without delay. Help them to walk in the truth of Your Word and to live lives that honor You. Give them the courage to share the Gospel with those around them, that others may come to know You as well.
We rebuke any spirit of deception or hardness of heart that may be keeping them from the truth. We declare that the light of the Gospel will shine into their lives, breaking every chain of darkness and bringing them into the marvelous light of Your kingdom. We stand on Your promise that if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that You raised Him from the dead, we will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Father, we ask that You surround them with godly influences, believers who will encourage them in the faith and model a life surrendered to You. May they see the love of Christ in action and be drawn to the hope that is found only in Him.
We also lift up any who may be struggling with sin or living in ways that do not align with Your Word. Whether it be sexual immorality, idolatry, or any other sin, we ask that You bring conviction and lead them to repentance. Your Word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). May they experience the freedom and joy that comes from walking in obedience to You.
Lord, we trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. We know that You desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We ask that You move powerfully in the lives of the brothers and all those they hold dear, that they may come to know You as their Savior and Lord.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
