We lift our hearts in prayer for the people of Venezuela, especially during this time of earthquakes and uncertainty. Our hearts ache for the teens, children, and babies who may be frightened or in danger, and we stand in the gap for them before the throne of grace. Father God, we ask for Your mighty hand of protection to cover every life, shielding them from harm and providing comfort in the midst of chaos.

We pray for those who do not yet know You, Lord. Open their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word and the salvation that comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Romans 10:13, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." We declare that many will come to know You as their Savior during this time, that they may experience Your peace and hope in the midst of trials.

We also pray for the safety and provision of all those affected. Let Your angels encamp around them, as Psalm 34:7 says, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them." Provide shelter, food, and medical care for those in need, and give wisdom to leaders and relief workers as they respond to this crisis.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be gripping the hearts of the people. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear, and we ask that You fill every heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We stand on Your promise in Psalm 46:1-3, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling." You are our refuge, our strength, and our ever-present help in times of trouble. We trust in You, Lord, and we pray that Your will be done in Venezuela. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

When creation groans and the ground trembles, it is natural to feel a deep ache, especially for the little ones, the teens, children, and babies you named. The earth quakes and the mountains are carried into the midst of the sea, yet our God remains a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed. Our Father works all things, and even that which naturally might be called evil is turned to good account by His sovereign hand. He spared the children of Korah when their kinsmen were destroyed, and He shall surely show Himself mighty to save amid the tremblings of Venezuela.

This is the wine and milk proclaimed without money and without price: Look unto Christ, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. The way of salvation is to believe on Him, trusting in His Person, depending upon Him without fear as to your present and eternal salvation. Salvation is in the Lord Himself, not in outward ordinances or human merit. Bring nothing of your own; come with empty hands. It is God’s salvation, devised by infinite wisdom, full of grace for the blackest of sinners.

For the little ones, tremble not. He calls those who die in infancy His children. They are saved through the same precious blood of Christ, not by water or ritual, but by His finished work. Let the children come to hear the Gospel, for faith comes by hearing. And if any of their kindred are yet in need of salvation, the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. Go and make this common salvation known, that households may rejoice together in the Lord. He is salvation, and beside Him there is none else.

The trembling of the earth you pray to end may itself be God’s summons. For did not a great earthquake open the prison doors and loose the chains of Paul, and bring the terrified jailer to cry out, “What must I do to be saved?” It was not the ceasing of the shaking that saved him, but the alarm that drove him to ask for salvation. And so I say to you: do not merely ask that the ground grow still, but that souls be delivered from eternal ruin. The earthquake is a voice, proclaiming that now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation.

Why do we beg God to silence the warning while we slumber on in sin? That kindly Providence sends such dread events not to destroy, but to rescue those who perish in carelessness. Children play with toys and neglect their lessons, and when their father burns the playthings they weep, but the correction is love. So pray rather that every heart in ###, teens, children, babies, and all, may hear and turn, and that those who are yet outside the ark of Christ may flee to Him while the door stands open.

Let none put off their salvation to their last breath, for the earthquake does not wait. Yes, beseech the Lord to be gracious and protect the innocent, but remember that the truest kindness He can show is to lead many to the unshakable Rock. And for yourself, build not on sand; let no earthly comfort quiet you while your own soul is undelivered. The jailer found safety when he fell trembling at the feet of the apostles and believed.

So let these shakings teach us to do the same, lest we be found playing with perishable things while eternal torments loom. The suffering of the moment works patience, comfort, and salvation, if we endure it as a call from the God of mercies. Therefore cry out for the living God to save, and do not delay.

The earth trembles and hearts cry out, just as you have cried out to God for Venezuela. That is a right and urgent prayer. When destruction seems near, the only true shelter is the blood of Jesus, applied by faith. There is salvation in no other name. The same deliverance that shielded the children of Israel on the night of judgment is held out to every soul in danger today.

You asked God to save the teens, the kids, the babies, and the people in their lives. That longing is straight from His own heart. And the marvel is that salvation is not far away or out of reach, as though one had to climb to heaven to obtain it. It is as near as the mouth and the heart. Even while the ground shakes, any person can turn to Christ and be saved. Now is the accepted time; now is the day of salvation. Fear often opens ears that prosperity had sealed.

God deliberately places questions in the minds of children. When little ones see the earth in turmoil, they ask why. Those questions become open doors for truth. We must tell the next generation what the Lord has done, so they can rise and declare it to their own children. A parent’s faith cannot substitute for a child’s; each one must personally know the Rock of salvation.

So do not stop praying. Remember how the children of Israel cried out to the Lord in their distress, and He raised up deliverers. He hears. He will be with the helpless. And if anyone in Venezuela thinks they have strayed too far, remind them that God does not despise a broken spirit. He does not first demand a cleaned-up life, He offers the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. The same Lord who triumphed gloriously and threw the horse and rider into the sea is still mighty to save today. May many in Venezuela soon sing of His deliverance.
