One of the ancient writers put it perfectly: "Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way." That is the transformation to seek, not just a mind with no bad images, but a mind so filled with a love for what is good that the evil things lose their power over you.

The promise for those who turn their foot from evil is that it will be health to your body and strength to your being.
