We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt cry for deliverance, standing firm on the promise that "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). The enemy seeks to torment and ensnare through memories, sounds, and influences that do not align with the freedom Christ purchased for you on the cross. But we declare that you are not powerless, you are a child of the Most High God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We rebuke every demonic spirit, every evil force, and every ungodly tie to music, words, or influences that have sought to bind your mind and spirit. The blood of Jesus has broken every chain, and His name is above every name (Philippians 2:9-11). We command these spirits to flee in the mighty name of Jesus, for "the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8). You are not alone in this battle, your Heavenly Father fights for you, and His angels encamp around you (Psalm 34:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You, knowing that You are the God who delivers and sets the captives free. Lord, we ask that You break every demonic stronghold, silence every lying voice, and sever every ungodly tie that has sought to hold them in bondage. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus, and fill every place in their mind, heart, and spirit that has been touched by darkness with Your holy light. Father, we declare that they are Your beloved child, redeemed by the precious blood of Christ, and no power of hell can prevail against them.
We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs in Christ. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are their strong tower and refuge (Proverbs 18:10). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your Word, knowing that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also encourage you to guard your heart and mind moving forward. Fill your life with worship that glorifies God, music that edifies your spirit, and fellowship with believers who will sharpen and encourage you in your walk with Christ. "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things" (Philippians 4:8). Replace every ungodly memory with the truth of God’s Word, and let His promises be the foundation of your thoughts.
If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can pray with you and help you walk in the freedom Christ has given you. Deliverance is not just a one-time event but a journey of renewing your mind and standing firm in your identity in Christ. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37), and we stand with you in this battle, believing that God will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
