We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your desire to be freed from the influences of zodiac signs and horoscopes, as well as the heavy burden of anger. First, we want to acknowledge your cry for deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ, this is the only name by which we have access to the Father, and it is through His power alone that true freedom is found. Jesus said in John 8:36, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." We stand on this promise for you today.
The knowledge of zodiac signs and horoscopes is not of God, for Scripture warns us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 against divination, soothsaying, and any form of seeking guidance outside of the Lord. These practices open doors to deception and bondage, and we renounce them in your life in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word of God is clear: "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We pray that every trace of these influences would be uprooted from your mind and spirit, and that you would find your guidance, identity, and future in Christ alone.
Father, we also bring before You the struggle with anger. Anger itself is not always sinful, for even Jesus displayed righteous anger when He cleansed the temple (John 2:13-17). However, unchecked anger that leads to outbursts, bitterness, or harm to others is not of You. Scripture warns us in James 1:20, "For the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God." We ask that You would uproot every root of unrighteous anger in their life, whether it stems from past hurts, unforgiveness, or pride, and replace it with Your peace. Fill them with the fruit of Your Spirit, as Galatians 5:22-23 tells us, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control." Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also rebuke any spirit of anger or rebellion that may be at work in their life. In the name of Jesus, we command every spirit of anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness to leave and never return. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and that the old patterns of anger and bondage to worldly wisdom have no place in their life. We pray that You would renew their mind with Your truth, as Romans 12:2 instructs: "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in self-control and gentleness. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5), so that they may no longer be ensnared by the lies of the enemy or the fleeting emotions of the flesh. We pray that You would give them a heart of forgiveness, even as You have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13), and that they would extend grace to others as You have extended grace to them.
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly community, believers who will encourage them in their walk with You, hold them accountable, and speak Your truth into their life. Let them be a light in this world, reflecting Your love and peace to those around them. We declare that they are free in Christ, and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has broken every chain and set the captives free. Amen.

You have asked the Lord to do a thorough work, and I want you to know that such a prayer as yours already bears the mark of His own hand upon your heart. When a soul turns from those shadowy lights, the zodiac signs and horoscopes that so many dabble in as if they were harmless, that turning is itself a kind of deliverance begun. The very fact that you now call them what they are, things to be delivered from, shows that the true Light has begun to shine in you. Christ Jesus is that Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. He does not share His throne with the stars that men consult in their fretfulness; He is the Bright and Morning Star, and before His face all those lesser, wandering lights go out like candles in the sunrise.
You pray to be delivered from all knowledge of them, even from their meaning and their memory. That is a plea the Lord loves to answer, for He says, “I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” If He blots out our transgressions so completely, do you think He cannot also sweep the mind clean of those tangled webs the enemy spun there? He is able to make the heart a new room, where the old pictures that hung on the walls are taken down and burned, and fresh tokens of His grace are put in their place. The enemy would love to keep whispering old words into your ear, or stirring up a sudden memory that makes you feel defiled again. But when God delivers, He often delivers in such a fashion that the very recollection loses its shape and its power, like a nightmare that melts when you open your eyes to the morning. You are not asking too much. You are simply asking for what the blood of Christ can do.
And there is this anger, these fits of anger, that you long to be rid of. I know that a quick and fiery temper can be a grievous chain. It springs up unbidden, and afterwards the soul feels like a field after a hailstorm, beaten down and ashamed. But here is your comfort: the Lord Jesus who calmed the storm on Galilee can calm the tempest inside a man. He does not merely trim the waves of our nature; He says, “Peace, be still,” and there is a great calm. When you ask to have no anger in you, you are asking for the very mind of Christ, who was meek and lowly of heart. And let me press this upon you, do not think that your deliverance hangs upon your own grip. The arrow of deliverance is the Lord’s arrow, though it be shot from the bow of your own will. Put your hands to the bow, yes, and pull with all your might against this sin; but it is the Lord who puts His hands upon your hands, and gives the shot its force and its direction. Without Him you could do nothing; with Him even the entrenched habits of years must give way.
There may be times when the old fury or the old curiosity tries the door of your heart again, and in that moment you feel how weak you are. Do not sink into despair then. That is the very hour when the Savior draws nearest, the time when you learn that He is able to keep you from falling. He has delivered you from the power of darkness, not halfway but wholly. The key that turned in Giant Despair’s lock turned desperately hard, but it did turn, and the gate flew open. Your freedom is as sure as His promise. You are not going down to any pit, for a ransom has been found. You shall live and not die, and declare the works of the Lord.

Quench the anger with the cool, deep stream of Your own patience. Give such a sweet calmness of spirit that even when provocation comes, the heart stays still before You like a weaned child. Let the enemy find no foothold, no old ember to blow upon. And grant this soul the quiet confidence that what You begin, You finish; what You cleanse, You keep clean. It has been our privilege to lift your requests before the Lord, asking Him to cleanse your mind of all knowledge tied to zodiac signs and horoscopes, and to break every chain of anger that seeks to take root in your heart.
