We lift this family before You, Lord, with hearts full of compassion and hope. Salvation is Your greatest gift, and we pray earnestly that this family and all those in their lives would come to know You as their Savior. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved, and we ask that You draw their hearts to Him. Open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and soften their hearts to receive the gospel.
We also pray for their daughter, Lord. May she grow in wisdom and understanding of Your love, and may she come to a personal relationship with You at an early age. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We ask that You surround her with godly influences and fill her life with Your peace and joy.
Father, we come against the darkness of Ebola and any other disease that brings suffering and fear. We declare Your power over sickness and death, for You are the Great Physician. We stand on the promise of Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We pray for complete eradication of this disease and for Your healing hand to rest upon all who are affected. Comfort the children, teens, and babies who may be suffering, and provide strength and wisdom to those caring for them.
Lord, we also lift up the people in the region mentioned, asking that You would move mightily in their lives. Salvation is not just a one-time event but a daily walk with You. We pray that those who do not know You would hear the gospel and respond in faith. Romans 10:13 assures us, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." May Your Spirit convict hearts and lead many to repentance and faith.
For wisdom, we turn to You, the source of all wisdom. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We ask for divine wisdom in every decision, every challenge, and every opportunity this family and those around them face. Guide them with Your truth and fill them with Your peace.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or hopelessness that may be trying to take root in their lives. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare Your victory over every situation and trust in Your perfect plan.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne on behalf of this family and all those in need. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your will. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
