We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up these individuals to our Heavenly Father. First, we must address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full" (John 16:23-24 WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
We pray for these individuals at their jobs, that You would grant them wisdom, favor, and protection. May they be a light in their workplaces, reflecting Your love and truth. We ask that You would surround them with godly colleagues and give them opportunities to share the hope that is found in Christ. "Let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16 WEB).
We also lift up the other individual mentioned, praying for their salvation if they have not yet come to know You. Father, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, opening their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). May they come to understand their need for a Savior and place their trust in Jesus Christ.
We acknowledge the request for forgiveness, and we join in asking for Your mercy. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Father, we thank You for Your grace and the forgiveness that is found in Christ.
Lord, we pray for these individuals to grow in their faith, to be rooted and grounded in Your Word, and to walk in a manner worthy of the calling they have received. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide for all their needs (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Strengthen them in their inner being, that they may be able to stand firm in the face of trials and temptations.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be affecting them, and we declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37 WEB). May they find their strength in You, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2 WEB).
Heavenly Father, we commit these individuals into Your loving hands, trusting that You will work in their lives according to Your perfect will. May they experience Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
