We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this prayer of repentance. Scripture tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Father God, we stand in the gap for our brother or sister who has come before You seeking forgiveness.
