We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of fear and distress. First, we must address the mention of an "evil eye," as Scripture warns us against superstition and fear of spiritual forces that do not align with God’s truth. The Bible tells us, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We are not to live in dread of curses or dark influences, for Christ has already disarmed them. "He disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public example of them, triumphing over them in it" (Colossians 2:15). Instead of fearing the "evil eye," we stand firm in the victory of Jesus, who has overcome the world (John 16:33).
The request to remove memories is also something we must approach with biblical wisdom. While we understand the pain of traumatic or disturbing recollections, we must remember that God can redeem even the most difficult experiences for His glory. The apostle Paul endured unimaginable suffering, yet he wrote, "I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us" (Romans 8:18). Rather than asking God to erase memories, we should ask Him to heal and transform them, so that they no longer bring torment but serve as testimonies of His faithfulness. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3).
We also notice the hesitation to name specific places or details, which may indicate fear or shame. But Scripture assures us, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear" (1 John 4:18). If these memories involve sin, whether witnessed or participated in, we must bring them into the light. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), but we must not hide in darkness. God’s grace is sufficient to cover even the deepest regrets.
For the financial concern regarding your parents’ light bill, we trust that God is our provider. "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We pray that He would open doors of opportunity, grant wisdom in stewardship, and even soften the hearts of those who may assist in this need. Let us not be anxious, but instead, "in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6).
Most importantly, we must emphasize that our access to God’s throne comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not yet placed your faith in Him, we urge you to do so today. "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31). Salvation is found in no one else, for "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
Let us now pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We reject the spirit of fear and superstition, declaring that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon the mind and heart burdened by these memories. Where there is pain, bring Your peace. Where there is shame, bring Your forgiveness. Where there is fear, bring Your perfect love. We trust that You can redeem even the most difficult experiences for Your glory.
Father, we lift up the financial need of this family. You know their circumstances, and we ask that You provide for them according to Your riches. Give them wisdom in managing their resources and open doors of opportunity. Let them see Your faithfulness in this time of need.
Lord, we also pray for salvation. If the one who submitted this request does not yet know You as Savior, we ask that Your Holy Spirit would draw them close. May they confess their sins, turn from them, and place their trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Let them experience the freedom that comes from being washed clean by His blood.
We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of darkness, every curse, and every tormenting memory in the name of Jesus. We stand on Your Word, which says, "The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).
Thank You, Father, for Your mercy, Your grace, and Your unfailing love. We trust in You alone, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
