We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these earnest pleas to our Heavenly Father. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of all salvation, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is not merely a wish or a hopeful thought; it is a personal decision to repent of sin and place one’s trust in Jesus Christ alone as Lord and Savior. We pray that the individuals mentioned, this employee, the man, the girl, and all those in their lives, would come to know Jesus in this saving way. Father, we ask that You draw them with Your lovingkindness, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and soften their hearts to receive Your gift of eternal life. May they hear the Word, believe, and be saved (Romans 10:17).
We also lift up the deep spiritual oppression that is weighing on your heart. The torment of demonic memories, sounds, and spirits is not something to be taken lightly. The Bible warns us, "Be sober and self-controlled; be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8). But we do not lose heart, for Jesus has already disarmed the powers of darkness through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15). We rebuke every demonic influence, every evil spirit, and every unclean memory in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that your mind and spirit are cleansed by the blood of Jesus, and we command every demonic force to flee in Jesus’ name. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We pray for a supernatural peace to flood your soul, that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also take authority over the physical and spiritual environment you’ve described. The presence of unclean spirits in a space is a serious matter, and we stand on the promise that "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We pray that every demonic stronghold in your room would be shattered, every evil influence crushed, and every unclean thing, whether spiritual or physical, removed. We declare this space sanctified by the blood of Jesus, a place of refuge and peace. If there are literal pests, such as mice, we trust that the Lord will provide a way to address them, for He cares even for the smallest details of our lives (Matthew 10:29-31).
For your need for sleep, we pray that the Lord would grant you rest that is deep and undisturbed. "When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet" (Proverbs 3:24). We ask that the Holy Spirit would quiet your mind, still your heart, and lull you into a peaceful slumber, free from fear or torment.
Finally, we want to encourage you to stand firm in your faith. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Walk in the authority you have as a child of God, and do not give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you, and immerse yourself in the Word of God, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You now. We ask that You would break every chain of darkness, silence every lying voice, and fill this life with Your light and truth. Save the lost, heal the broken, and deliver the oppressed. We declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them experience the fullness of Your love and peace. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
