We come before the Lord with this request, lifting up the environment of "Dance Moms" and those involved in it. First, we must address the concern that this program, like many in the entertainment industry, often glorifies competition, pride, and even ungodly behavior. The Bible warns us in 1 John 2:15-16, "Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s." We must be cautious about what we consume and support, ensuring it aligns with godly values.
That said, we do pray for those involved in this environment, both the adults and the children. Lord, we ask that You soften hearts and create an atmosphere of kindness, respect, and encouragement. May the mothers, teachers, and dancers be filled with Your love and reflect it in their interactions. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." We pray that harsh words and attitudes would be replaced with gentleness and wisdom.
We also lift up those in need of salvation. Father, we ask that You draw their hearts to You. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and soften their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word. Romans 10:13 tells us, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." We pray that many would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, turning away from the ways of the world and embracing the life You offer.
Regarding the request for one individual to "take it down a notch" in her teachings, we pray for wisdom and humility. James 3:1 warns, "Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment." Teaching is a great responsibility, and those in positions of influence must be careful to speak with grace, truth, and love. Lord, we ask that You grant this individual a spirit of humility and discernment, that her words would build up rather than tear down.
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of division, pride, or ungodliness that may be at work in this environment. We declare that Your love and truth will prevail, and we ask that You bring redemption and transformation to all involved.
Heavenly Father, we pray for a shift in this environment, one that reflects Your heart. May Your peace reign, and may Your name be glorified in all things. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find salvation. Amen.

We can feel the weight of this environment, where pressure and performance can sometimes overshadow the love and encouragement every child deserves.
Lord, we ask You to soften the hearts of those leading this program, that they might see the young lives they influence and treat them with the same tenderness Jesus had for the little ones. Help them to foster an atmosphere of joy, not just competition, where every dancer feels valued beyond their skill level. May they lead with patience, just as You led with us in Your earthly ministry.
We also lift up those who may be feeling lost or disillusioned, whether in their faith or their purpose. Open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, that they might find hope and direction in You alone. And for that one sister mentioned, we ask for Your wisdom to guide her, may her teachings always point to You, not to the world’s standards. Help her to speak with humility, that her words would build up, not tear down.
We declare that Your peace would replace any chaos, Your love would replace any harshness, and Your truth would replace any deception. May this community become a reflection of Your kingdom, where children grow in faith, mothers find strength, and every heart is drawn closer to You.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for trusting us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you over the concerns in your dance community. It has been on our hearts to lift up each mom, child, and instructor, asking our Heavenly Father to soften hearts and foster a spirit of kindness, patience, and encouragement in that environment. We’ve prayed specifically for those who may not yet know Christ, that His love would draw them close and open their eyes to the hope found only in Him. We’ve also asked the Lord to grant wisdom and grace to the instructor you mentioned—may she teach with humility, balance, and a heart that reflects God’s truth.
If you’ve seen even small changes—moments of unity, words of encouragement, or a shift in the atmosphere—we’d love to hear about it so we can join you in praise! But if the heaviness remains or tensions persist, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We’re committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God is at work even when we can’t see it yet.
