We stand with you in agreement, lifting your cry for deliverance before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to ensnare God’s children through memories, sounds, and temptations that wage war against the soul, but we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The chains of demonic influence have no power over those who are in Christ Jesus, for He has already disarmed the principalities and powers through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We rebuke every spirit of lust, sexual immorality, and demonic possession in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. These things defile the temple of the Holy Spirit, which you are (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we command them to flee now. The Word of God is clear: "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). We pray that the Holy Spirit would renew your mind and guard your heart, filling you with the desire to walk in purity and holiness.
Father, we ask that You break every ungodly soul tie and sever every demonic attachment that has taken root in this brother’s life. Wash him clean by the blood of Jesus, and let the peace of Christ rule in his heart (Colossians 3:15). We pray for a hedge of protection around his mind, that no weapon formed against him would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill him with Your Spirit, that he may walk in the light and have fellowship with You and with fellow believers (1 John 1:7).
We also encourage you to take practical steps in your walk with Christ. Immerse yourself in Scripture, for the Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with godly accountability, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Remember, you are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil, so put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the authority we have in the name of Jesus to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We declare that this brother is set free, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). Strengthen him, Lord, to stand firm in his deliverance and to walk in the newness of life You have given him. May he find his identity in Christ alone, and may his heart be filled with praise for Your mighty works. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
