We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the throne of grace and the only name that has power over every demonic force. Your request is not taken lightly, for the Word of God declares, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). We recognize the spiritual battle you are facing, and we come together to rebuke every demonic influence that seeks to torment you.
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have victory over the powers of darkness. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not already done so, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB). Salvation is the first step to true deliverance, as it is through Christ alone that we are set free from the bondage of sin and the enemy’s grip.
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up this dear one who is seeking deliverance from demonization, demonic images, and all bad images that have sought to torment and oppress. Lord, we declare that Your Word is true, and we stand on the promise that "the Son of God was revealed for this purpose, that He might destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8 WEB). We rebuke every demonic spirit that has attached itself to this child of Yours, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. We break every chain, every stronghold, and every ungodly tie that has been formed through sin, fear, or deception.
Father, we ask that You would fill this precious one with Your Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of truth and power. Let Your light shine into every dark corner of their mind, heart, and soul, driving out every trace of the enemy’s influence. We pray for a fresh infilling of Your presence, Lord, that they may walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for them on the cross. "For He rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love" (Colossians 1:13 WEB).
We also pray for discernment and wisdom, Lord. Show them any areas of their life where they may have unknowingly opened doors to the enemy through sin, unforgiveness, or involvement in ungodly practices. Lead them to repentance and restoration, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Surround them with godly believers who can stand with them in prayer and encouragement, for "two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor" (Ecclesiastes 4:9 WEB).
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We speak peace over their mind, healing over their emotions, and strength over their spirit. May they walk in the fullness of Your love and power, knowing that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, dear one. The enemy may try to return, but you have the authority in Christ to resist him. "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). Fill your mind with Scripture, surround yourself with prayer and worship, and stay connected to a body of believers who can support you. Deliverance is not just a one-time event but a lifestyle of walking in the freedom Christ has given you. You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts fights for you.
