We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up these individuals and situations to our Heavenly Father. First, we must address the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We are grateful that this prayer was offered in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
Father, we lift up this sister in Christ and ask that You would be with her in her workplace. Grant her wisdom, strength, and favor as she interacts with her colleagues and customers. May she be a light for You in that place, reflecting Your love and grace. We pray for those around her, that their hearts would be open to the gospel message. If they are in need of salvation, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Lord, we ask that You would work in their lives, revealing Yourself to them and convicting them of their need for a Savior.
We also lift up this brother and his wife, asking that You would be with them in a special way. If they have not yet surrendered their lives to You, we pray that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior. Father, we ask that You would work in their hearts, drawing them to Yourself and helping them to grow in their faith. We pray for their safe return to their country, and we ask that You would guide their steps and order their days according to Your will.
Lord, we lift up this brother's workplace as well, asking that You would be present there. Grant him wisdom, strength, and favor as he interacts with his colleagues. May he be a light for You in that place, reflecting Your love and grace. We pray for those around him, that their hearts would be open to the gospel message. If they are in need of salvation, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself.
Regarding the request for this brother to become president in his country, we must remember that Your plans and purposes are higher than ours. Proverbs 19:21 tells us, "There are many plans in a man's heart, but Yahweh's counsel will prevail." Father, we ask that You would guide this brother's steps and order his days according to Your will. If it is Your plan for him to serve in this capacity, we ask that You would open the doors and make the way clear. However, we also trust that Your will is perfect, and we submit this request to You, asking that Your will be done in his life and in his country.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up these requests and asking that You would work in each of these situations. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, and we know that You hear our prayers. We ask that You would be glorified in all things, and that Your will would be done in each of these lives. We pray for Your protection, Your provision, and Your guidance for each of these individuals. May they come to know You more deeply and walk in close fellowship with You each day.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
