The betrayal and rumors you describe are not of God but are tools of the enemy to create chaos, distort truth, and destroy relationships. The Scripture warns us in Proverbs 16:28, *"A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends."* This is the work of those who are led by selfish ambitions and evil influences, not by the Spirit of God. The enemy uses lies, gossip, and manipulation to turn hearts against one another, but we must remember that God is not the author of confusion but of peace. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 14:33, *"For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace."*
We also see in your request a reference to Peter’s denial of Christ in Matthew 26:34, where Jesus warned him of his coming betrayal. Yet even in Peter’s failure, Jesus prayed for him and restored him. This reminds us that though others may betray or abandon us, Jesus never will. He is faithful even when people are not. Your cry for protection is heard, and we declare that the Lord will expose every hidden scheme of the enemy. As it is written in Luke 12:2-3, *"There is nothing covered that will not be revealed; and hidden that will not be known. The malicious behavior you describe—gossip, lying, betrayal, and the spreading of rumors—is an abomination to the Lord. Ephesians 4:29 commands us, *"Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."* And Ephesians 5:4 further warns, *"Nor should there be any obscenity, foolish talk, or crude joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving."* Those who engage in such behavior are not walking in the Spirit but are being used by the enemy to sow discord. We rebuke this spirit of division, lying, and betrayal in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy has no authority here, and we command every evil spirit at work in this situation to be bound and cast out.
We also address the issue of anonymous attacks and hidden agendas. The enemy loves to operate in darkness, but we declare that every hidden thing will be brought to light. The Lord sees all, and He will vindicate the righteous. Psalm 37:6 assures us, *"He will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* Do not fear the schemes of man or the whispers of the enemy, for the Lord is your refuge and strength.

Lord, we also pray for those who are spreading rumors and causing division. Father, if they are Your children, convict their hearts and bring them to repentance. If they are not, we pray that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel and draw them to Yourself. Break the power of the enemy over their lives and let them no longer be used as instruments of destruction.
We ask for restoration where relationships have been broken, for healing where hearts have been wounded, and for wisdom to navigate this season. Let our sister and her friend walk in forgiveness, even as You have forgiven us. Strengthen them to rise above the chaos and to trust in You alone.
