We rejoice with you in your hunger to study the Word of God and to seek His anointing and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, for this is a holy desire that God Himself places in the heart that seeks Him diligently. We pray together with you that the Lord will indeed give you spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit is saying, and that your study of the Scriptures would be alive and fruitful.
The Word tells us in Psalm 119:18 Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of your law. And Jesus said in Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. We also join you in praying the prayer of Paul in Ephesians 1:17-18 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
We encourage you to continue faithfully in the Word, for it is there the Holy Spirit teaches and anoints us. As it is written in 1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you donāt need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him. This anointing is not for our own elevation but to remain in Christ, to walk in obedience, and to serve Him in humility and love.
Concerning the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we affirm what Scripture teaches in 1 Corinthians 12:4 Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. and 1 Corinthians 12:7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all. and 1 Corinthians 12:11 But the one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires. We encourage you to seek the Giver more than the gifts, and to desire above all that love would abound in you, for love is the greatest and without it the gifts profit nothing. If you lack wisdom in discerning His gifts and His calling, remember James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
We also want to gently remind you of something precious, that in your request you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We say this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we receive the Holy Spirit and are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Scripture declares in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. The anointing and the gifts come not by our striving alone but through faith in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, and abiding in Him. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, to repent and follow Him, for then the Holy Spirit dwells in you and empowers you.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for this dear one who hungers for Your Word and for Your Spirit. We ask that You pour out Your anointing upon them as they study, that You would open the eyes of their heart and give them ears to hear Your voice clearly. Grant them wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ, and lead them into all truth by Your Holy Spirit. Distribute Your gifts as You will for the building up of the body of Christ and for Your glory, and keep this one humble, grounded in Your Word, and rooted in love. Let their life bear fruit that honors You, and let them walk in obedience and holiness all their days. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to remain faithful in prayer, in the Word, in fellowship with other believers, and in obedience, trusting that God who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

Your hunger for the Word of God and for the anointing of the Holy Spirit is itself an evidence that the Spirit of God is at work in you, for life does not lie latent in natural men for themselves to stir up, until the Holy Spirit visits them they are dead in trespasses and sins. No man can truly pray or truly see Christ without His help, for He is the Author of all spiritual life and the Spirit of Holiness by whom alone any man becomes holy.
We do pray for you that the Lord will give you spiritual eyes and ears, not to see visions beyond Scripture, but to see Christ in Scripture. Remember that the Holy Spirit glorifies Christ, He will receive of Mine and show it to you. He deals with the things of Christ, and when you are dealing with the things of Christ you are on Holy Spirit ground. The Holy Spirit goes never beyond the written Word, but He takes that Word and makes it living and powerful to the soul. Cry mightily unto God for this, for without the Holy Spirit you utterly fail, and only when He comes is there any life and force and power.
Our prayer for you is this, that you may not grieve the Holy Spirit whom God has given to dwell in you. Though our heart is but a cottage, a very hovel, yet He condescends to make the heart of His people His continual abode, and He is grieved by unbelief and by unholiness of life. Ask the Lord to keep you in holiness and in simple faith, looking entirely to Christ, for that which detracts from the power of Christ as Savior cannot be of the Holy Spirit.
Seek then to live in the Holy Spirit and to give yourself up fully to His divine anointing and bedewing. Learn to pray in the Holy Spirit, which is to pray in His power and by His help, for He is willing to help you to pray and to tell you how to pray. As you study the Word, ask Him to open it, for no one can reveal the Holy Spirit but the Holy Spirit, and no one can reveal Christ but by Him. He alone can quicken your reason and your affections, turning a heart that was cold toward God to love Him.
May the Lord grant you more of the anointing which Christ is prepared to give immeasurably to those who will receive Him. May He anoint your eyes to behold wonderful things out of His law, and your ears to hear His voice today while it is called today, hardening not your heart. May He bestow His gifts as He wills, not for your own exaltation but for the glory of Christ and the building up of His Church, and may all that you receive make Christ more precious to you.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
