Dhitlor

Faithful Servant
Please pray for me about this: I have been through a lot in my life due to spiritual warfare targeting me for most of my life which aims to attack me by using certain people who are vulnerable to being used by Satan to do unusually harmful and cruel things to me. Satan's aim in this is to drive me toward unforgiveness and even things like divination which I have explained in other posts. It was only recently that I began to understand that these actions from these people were not their own (and many of them do show extreme remorse when this warfare stops using them especially after I resist the enemy and remain Christlike). However, some people have seemed to be extremely used by this warfare with little relief even getting worse the more I remain Christlike. My own involvement in the occult years ago (which I repented of and turned back to Christ) also made this warfare worse. Either way, lately I have been struggling with thoughts of anger and a desire for vengeance for the things I've experienced due to this warfare. Please pray for me about this. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your awareness of the spiritual warfare at work is a testament to your faith, and we rejoice that you have turned away from the occult and back to Christ. However, we must address the anger and desire for vengeance that has taken root in your heart, for these are not fruits of the Spirit but works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21).

The Bible is clear that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and it is not our place to repay evil for evil. Instead, we are called to overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). Forgiveness is not optional for believers; it is a command (Colossians 3:13). We understand that the pain you have endured is real, and the enemy has used others to inflict deep wounds, but we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Those who have harmed you are also victims of the enemy's schemes, and they too need our prayers and compassion.

We rebuke the spirit of anger and vengeance in the name of Jesus Christ. We command it to leave you now, for it is written, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We also rebuke any lingering ties to the occult, for the Bible warns us that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:20-21). We encourage you to renounce any and all involvement with the occult, past or present, and to submit fully to God.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is struggling with anger and a desire for vengeance. Lord, we ask that You would heal their heart and mind from the wounds inflicted by the enemy. We pray that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to forgive those who have harmed them, just as You have forgiven them (Ephesians 4:32).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of anger and vengeance in the name of Jesus. We command it to leave and never return. We also renounce any ties to the occult and ask that You would cleanse our brother/sister from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Lord, we pray for those who have been used by the enemy to harm our brother/sister. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth and set them free from the enemy's grasp. We pray that they would come to know You and experience Your love and forgiveness.

Father, we thank You for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that You would surround them with Your angels and protect them from the schemes of the enemy. Help them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are with them always (Matthew 28:20).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on the following scriptures and allow them to renew your mind:

"Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, and don't give place to the devil." (Ephesians 4:26-27)

"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32)

"Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don't curse." (Romans 12:14)

"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." (Matthew 5:44)

We also encourage you to seek fellowship with other believers, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Surround yourself with godly men/women who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. If possible, find a biblical counselor who can help you work through the pain and trauma you have experienced.

Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil. Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Stand firm in your faith, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap, if you don't faint (Galatians 6:9). The victory is already yours in Christ Jesus.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your burden to the Lord. We understand the pain and frustration you're feeling, but remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil. It's easy to feel anger and desire for vengeance, but we must remember that we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. Forgiveness is not always easy, but it's a crucial step in healing and freedom. Let's pray together:

Lord Jesus, we come to You with our ###'s pain and anger. We ask that You would heal their heart and mind from the wounds inflicted by the enemy. Fill them with Your peace, help them to forgive as You have forgiven them. Rebuke the spirit of anger and vengeance, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Lord, we also pray for those who have been used by the enemy to harm our ###. Open their eyes to the truth and set them free from the enemy's grasp. Help them to come to know You and experience Your love and forgiveness. Surround our ### with Your angels and protect them from the schemes of the enemy. Help them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are with them always. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let's meditate on these scriptures together:

"Be angry, and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil." (Ephesians 4:26-27)

"Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32)

"Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them." (Romans 12:14)

"But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." (Matthew 5:44)

We encourage you to seek fellowship with other believers, as iron sharpens iron. Surround yourself with godly men/women who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. If possible, find a biblical counselor who can help you work through the pain and trauma you've experienced. Remember, the victory is already yours in Christ Jesus.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us by sharing such a deeply personal and difficult struggle. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer these past days, lifting your battle with anger and the desire for vengeance before our Heavenly Father. We have prayed specifically that the Lord would break the chains of spiritual warfare that have sought to ensnare you for so long, and that He would reveal His peace and healing in the midst of this storm.

We have asked God to strengthen your heart, so that even when faced with cruelty and harm, you would continue to reflect the love and grace of Christ. We have prayed that He would guard your mind from the lies of the enemy, reminding you that vengeance belongs to Him alone and that He is your ultimate defender. We have also lifted up those who have been used by the enemy, asking the Lord to bring conviction, repentance, and restoration to their lives, and to break the hold of darkness over them.

As you continue to walk through this trial, we encourage you to hold fast to the truth that God sees every injustice you have endured, and He is working all things together for your good. If the Lord has answered any part of this prayer—whether through a sense of peace, a softening of your heart, or a breakthrough in the spiritual battle—we would be so blessed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a source of encouragement to others who are facing similar struggles.

If, however, the battle still rages and the anger persists, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you in prayer until the Lord brings victory. Until then, we will continue to intercede on your behalf, asking God to fill you with His Holy Spirit, to renew your mind, and to replace every thought of vengeance with His perfect love and justice.

May the Lord bless you with His presence and peace as you press into Him. May He give you the strength to forgive as you have been forgiven, and may He reveal Himself as your refuge and strength in this time of need. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
