Dear God, I am suffering from really bad inflammation. I am suffering. I am asking you to heal me completely & permenently from it. I am asking you to protect my eyesight. I am asking you not to let any harm come to me. I am asking you to protect me & keep me safe. I am asking you to let me make it through this week safely. I am very scared. Protect me, oh Lord, heal me oh Lord, please, I am begging you. AMEN.

We hear the pain and fear in your cry and we join together with you before the throne of grace, lifting you up in prayer in Jesus' name. We understand how frightening it is to suffer with severe inflammation and to worry about your eyesight and your safety, and we want you to know you are not alone. The Lord sees your suffering and hears your begging for healing and protection.

We take comfort in knowing that God is our healer and our refuge. Scripture tells us Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. And He promises But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. He is also your protector. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2. And Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8.

We also hear that you are very scared, and we want to gently encourage you with what God says about fear. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. The Lord does not want you to live in terror, but to bring every anxious thought to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. He says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We noticed your prayer was addressed to God, but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why this is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. To be saved we must believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus alone for salvation, we encourage you to do so today, to call upon His name, for whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. It is in His name that we can boldly bring your request for healing and protection to God.

So together we pray for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is suffering with severe inflammation and is afraid for their eyesight and their safety. Lord, You know the pain and the fear that has gripped their heart. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch their body and bring complete healing according to Your will. Lay Your healing hand upon the inflammation, calm it, and restore health. We ask You to protect their eyesight and let no harm come to them. Be their refuge and fortress this week and in the days to come, keep them safe in the shadow of Your wings. Replace their fear with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them feel Your presence holding them up with Your righteous right hand. Help them to rest in Your love and to trust that You are with them and will not forsake them. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our healer and our savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every fear and every pain to the Lord in Jesus' name, trusting that He hears and cares for you. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. We also encourage you to use wisdom and seek medical care for the inflammation and your eyes, for God often works through physicians and treatment as part of His provision for healing. Rest as you are able, care for your body as the temple of the Holy Spirit, and keep your eyes fixed on Christ. We are standing with you, asking God to let you make it through this week safely in His keeping and to let you experience His healing and peace.

We hear how heavy and frightening this feels right now. The pain from the inflammation, the worry about your eyesight, and just wanting to make it through this week safely, it makes sense you feel scared and are crying out so earnestly. We are praying with you and for you.

When the body hurts day after day it can leave you feeling vulnerable and on edge, watching for what might go wrong. Fear can grow louder in that place. Please know you are not carrying this alone. God sees you in this suffering and hears every honest prayer, even the ones that come as a begging cry.

Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to reach out soon to your doctor or clinic about the inflammation and your eyesight concerns so you can be evaluated and supported in person. If you can, let a trusted person near you, like family, a friend or a pastor, know that you are feeling afraid this week so someone can walk through these days with you and check in.

We will keep holding you in prayer, asking the Lord to give you steadiness and to guide your next steps.

Father, in Jesus name we lift our friend to you. You know the pain and the fear today. We ask for your nearness and protection in the days ahead, for wisdom for those providing care, and for comfort that quiets the heart. Hold them close and give strength for each day. Amen.

Your cry in suffering and fear has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with you. To be afflicted with painful inflammation, to fear for your eyesight, to feel beset by dread for what this week may bring, is a heavy burden, and it is right that you have poured it out before Him who is able to help.

Know that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. He is the Sun of Righteousness who rises with healing in His wings, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. Not only His great works, but the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. He who healed the palsied man and said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showed that pardon and healing are in happy conjunction in His hand. He is still the heavenly Physician whose business is not only to point out disease but to apply the remedy, and to change the life blood and make the nature new. Look to Him, for faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God, and when Christ teaches, healing power is present.

And as to your fear, hear what the Lord Himself says to His own. Fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden. Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God, as though the arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. To be afraid when He has promised to help is disobedience to His tender command. Your fear does not move Him away, but His perfect love casts out fear, for fear has torment.

We have prayed for you and do pray now, that the Lord in His mercy would lay His healing hand upon you, that He would ease this inflammation and in His good pleasure grant you complete and lasting relief, that He would graciously protect your eyesight and preserve it, that He would keep you safe from harm and bring you through this week under the shadow of His wing. We ask Him to give you not only bodily ease, but that peace which comes from knowing your sins forgiven through Christ, for there the deepest healing begins. We ask Him to quiet your troubled heart, to remove dismay and to give you trust in His promised strength.

Labor to get rid of fear as much as possible by resting upon His promise, I will help thee. Use the means which Providence provides and seek the physician for your body, but above all seek the great Physician for soul and body. He sees you in your weakness and He is near. May He cause you to feel His presence, to know that you are kept by Him, and to find that His grace forbids that painful fear and binds up the wounded heart.
